Residence: Welcome to the Domaine des Grands Pins! Our residential and leisure park of 19-acres of verdant nature and pine forests is situated in Tamniès. It's with great pleasure that we will help you discover the picturesque places and the treasures of the Périgord noir… As a family, with friends or as a group, you will be accommodated in one of our 30 chalets, which all have a wooded private garden of at least 2700ft² (250m²). Far from all the noise, you will fully enjoy nature. During your stay at the Domaine des Grands Pins, you will be able to indulge in the many activities we offer: swimming pool, multi-sports court, boules (pétanque), mini golf, playground for children, activities for both children and adults, theme evenings, hikes and bike rides starting from the domain, farm visits with goose force-feeding demonstrations… There is something for everyone! The Domaine des Grands Pins offers a broad range of activities for you to enjoy. From relaxation to sport and gastronomy, there is something for everyone to enjoy… And at your own pace!!! We propose a family activity for all ages everyday. Activities in the park in summertime: • Playground for children, trampolines, multi-sports court, boules (pétanque), table tennis, swimming pool with three different depths, mini-golf. We offer the necessary equipment for free. • Organisation of contests for adults and children. Our orienteering races and Olympiad are a good opportunity to discover the whole park and to evaluate your adventurous side. • The “Cro-mignon” Club receives children from 5 to 11 years old (additional charges) • Themed culinary evenings • Evening dances Activities outside the park: • Hiking (on your own or with us) and bike rides starting from the domain • Speleology (for beginners or more experienced); supervised by a licensed coordinator. Au cours de votre séjour, vous aurez l'occasion de découvrir les splendeurs de la Dordogne : – Sarlat, capitale du Périgord-Noir, qui possède un ensemble urbain médiéval parmi les plus importants du monde. Vous aimerez vous perdre dans ses innombrables ruelles, aussi pittoresques les unes que les autres et déguster la gastronomie locale. – Montignac où vous visiterez, entre autres les grottes de Lascaux et les bords de la Vézère. – Les grottes et gouffres de la région : du Grand Roc aux Eyzies-de-Tayac (capitale mondiale de la préhistoire) au grouffre de Proumeyssac en passant par La-Roque-Gageac, vous découvrirez la vie souterraine du Périgord-Noir. – La Dordogne c'est aussi les châteaux. On en dénombre pas moins d'un millier sur toute la région.
