THINGS TO KNOW
Due to fluctuating tap water quality in the Village of Surfside Beach, it is recommended to bring bottled water for drinking and/or cooking during your stay. During times of elevated water contaminants, water coming from the faucets and toilets may have a yellow tint. The water is safe for bathing.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Not the best!

The place was so dirty, the furniture was old and smelly. There was no room to pull out the old rickety table and chairs to dine on. The bed was so small it really could only sleep one person. It could be a really cute rental, but it needs work!!

Beach house stay

The stay was relaxing, but we could not use the bottom part to sit while kids played outside due to flooding from toilet leaking, and Sunday the master bedroom bed collapsed on me. Pictures were taken of bed after incident.

Shower not working!

First, what I did like: The house was clean and well supplied with dishes, linens, appliances, paper towels, and most the basic things you would need to cook. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of spare sheets and blankets. The location is good, quiet and provides ample parking. What I didn't like: The shower was either cold or scalding, it did not mix the hot and cold water to provide a comfortable shower. We left the house for 4 hours and returned to find the a/c had been turned off. The temperature was 87 in the house. Not cool, literally and figuratively. Hopefully, they did not enter the residence while we were gone, but instead turned it off remotely. Either way, no one wants to return to no a/c after a hot visit on the beach.

Loved it

Everything was clean and there was plenty of space for all 5 of us. We loved the wrap around porch and big shower. Everything that we might need for our stay was provided, plenty of blankets, pillows & towels. We would definitely stay here again.

Surfside Getaway

It was an easy access getting to the location of the house, however the access door was left wide opened upon arrival and my husband went in to check if someone was still in there and no one was there. We think the cleaner didn’t locked the door properly as the place was cleaned. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and the kids had fun going to the beach! The house was stocked with items we needed for the trip, thank you!
