This 1880 built home was left abandoned and we've brought it back around for your enjoyment. This 1 bedroom unit is fresh, clean, and comfortable. A two block walk brings you to historic downtown Owatonna where there's shops, restaurants, Central Park, and plenty of things to do! The apartment has recently been renovated, with new windows installed, among many other improvements. It's a nice one bedroom apartment with a hide-a-bed.

We appreciated the accommodations and flexibility of the property owner in making our stay possible and very satisfactory. Its well suited to a single person or couple. More than that it would be a tight fit. The laundry is coin operated, but we appreciated that they were available to us so we didnt have to visit a laundromat..

Very comfortable place - great tv. We will definitely consider if we travel there again.
This is a very clean property in the perfect location for our needs. The host has great communication & is very easy to work with. We were very happy with our stay, my only complaint is the bed needs to be at least a queen & the mattress was very squishy soft, only 1 regular adult size person can sleep comfortably in the bed, at least for us it didn't work I chose the sofa & it was very comfortable
House was clean, comfortable, convenient and very reasonably priced for our quick weekend stay to visit with our daughter, son in law and grand kids. Thank you
Our stay in Owatonna was great, although, we did not spend much time at the property itself. It was a comfortable space--in which we used both beds--pull out couch and the queen. We had some issues with the internet initially but pivoted and used our hot spot the first night to watch movies (it kept refreshing). The owner rectified the issue by the second night. The space itself was very clean (which we appreciated!) and has some nice updates. It is also quite close to Central park and other downtown historic buildings. We particularly enjoyed the Orphanage museum (drove). Rice Lake state park is close as well for a nice walk--beautiful in the fall. We also visited Oxbow park by Byron.
Cons--it could use a couple nicer quality pans and larger bowl (for mixing, for popcorn, etc)
But overall our stay was very good and the owner communicated well
My mom and I stayed here while we were in town for a book signing. It's an old home that has been upgraded, but still feels unique (the floors are beautiful). It's the perfect size for 2-3 people. The heat lamp in the bathroom is great. Nice quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to downtown and the library! Fair warning that the washer and dryer are not free (coin-operated), so if you had a longer stay, be prepared for that!
The property was homey, clean and just as described and even had extra linens. The big TV and comfy living room couch was perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. It was located centrally to both the historic downtown and the lovely parks of Owatonna. The host was very responsive on check-in day with awesome dining recommendations AND super helpful when VRBO went down for the afternoon/evening just even I needed to access the check-in details...he took my call and gladly texted me the info insteqd.

Perfect location close to restaurants and stores. Exceptional attention to cleanliness by Luke and his communication about the property was top notch.
This little place has all the basics. It’s close to everything important in Owatonna. The coffee maker is a throwback model from my younger days but makes EXCELLENT coffee. 😊
This property is super cute and clean. Location is walking/biking distance to parks and trails. We walked to the historic downtown town in the evening for cocktails, coffee and shopping during the day.
All the kitchen and bath amenities you should need. Plus WiFi, tv streaming, and a seasonal planter out front to welcome you home.
