Fire pit, charcoal grill, Wi-Fi, new bathroom upstairs with large shower, piano, 3 tv’s.
Peaceful & quiet, cows in the distance, farmhouses dotting the rolling hills. Large oaks frame the north side.

Every modern convenience you could need for a weekend family retreat except bring your own dishwasher! We love this farmhouse, & being there feeds your soul. Hope is just down the road. Hope creamery makes the best butter for baking & Hopeful Treasures is a secret vintage store. Owatonna is just 20 min north & Ellendale is a 10 min drive for essentials. Make it a destination or traveling through from Iowa to Mpls. We welcome you.

Quaint farmhouse stay

Very nice stay. Updated quaint farmhouse on a nice property. Very comfortable and clean. We were in MN for a nearby event and the house met all our needs. Petra was great to work with. Even had Hope butter there for us.

The place was magical...with great spaces inside and out. The hostess communicated well and left clear instructions. Bathroom was spotless; kitchen was well-equipped. A real delight! I stayed in the blue bedroom and it slept perfect.

The kitchen had a very nice set-up. But if you have long legs forget about sitting at the kitchen island. It is pet friendly and the sunrises are beautiful. Unfortunately, it is not as clean as it could be and the building struggles with maintenance. All in all, a nice stay, with good friends and delightful sunrises and sunsets.

Hi Mary- I'm shocked by your review since our professional cleaner had just deep cleaned our farmhouse right before your arrival. We keep it very clean, and pride ourselves on this. The only thing I can think of is that the soybean fields around us had just been harvested, and that brings out the Asian Lady Beatles by the hundreds! This is something that is part of country life, it's cyclical although my cleaner vacuumed all the Beatles b4 your arrival.
