About this property
🏖️ Gold Coast Inn | Breathtaking Lake Views • Corner Rm 301
Gold Coast Inn | Corner Room 301, Traverse City
There's a particular kind of quiet that settles in on the east side of Traverse City, where Gold Coast Inn looks out over Grand Traverse Bay. This top-floor corner room catches it fully — calming decor, soft light, and a view of the water that changes with the hour. It's a modern, self-check-in boutique hotel built for travelers who want ease without losing the feeling of being somewhere special.
A comfortable queen bed anchors the room, with a Roku TV, mini fridge, and microwave for the small comforts of home. Free parking, fast WiFi, and complimentary access to Iron House Gym are included, and the Traverse Area Recreation Trail runs right out the back door.
From Memorial Day through Labor Day, summer weekends bring complimentary wine and charcuterie on the shared balcony as the sun goes down over the bay.
Downtown Traverse City is about 5 miles away, with Traverse City State Park Beach, Grand Traverse Resort & Spa, and Cherry Capital Airport all close by — along with the region's wineries, breweries, and waterfront dining.
This room was built for the kind of trip where the plan is simple: watch the water, wander into town when you feel like it, and let Traverse City set the pace. We'd love to have you stay with us.

Everything went smoothly. Clean facilities, with everything you need. Mostly quiet, we did have a group arrive on our last day that was a bit loud. Great room, great view. I highly recommend this property. Will stay here again if I can get a great deal again.
Great place to stay w/ a million dollar view. Quite, clean boutique style accommodations. The only improvement would be shower shelving.

My stay
Very clean and quiet. Very comfortable atmosphere. Only issue I had was the bed was very uncomfortable and really could have used a king size I as Leo noticed a lot of people including myself having trouble entering building and rooms Overall a great place to stay
If you don't need to be walking distance to downtown, this property is great. The room was spacious, clean, and had a great open feel to it with a pretty view. It is on a busy road that is loud, so it's tough to enjoy the view from the porches, but it is still very pretty from the room. We would be happy to stay again.
Room was nice, and clean. Was disappointed that there was no ice machine or drinking glasses in the room. Very slow internet and trouble navigating tv system. Was hoping there would be brochures about the area as well as pen and paper for jotting phone numbers and information. All in all very satisfied with our stay
We had a corner room with a beautiful view of the Lake. The GCI is located conveniently near shopping & dining on Hwy 31. Upon entering the Inn, you will notice the fresh, clean, pleasant smell of the entrance and halls. I loved that. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, and the price was reasonable, especially for the area. Well worth it. We would stay again.
Room is right size with common areas for larger gatherings for TV, games and eating if you have multiple people you are traveling with. Sleeping was a delight the bed is very comfortable. Although you are close to M31, night traffic calms down and traffic notice is not bothersome. Traverse Bay is front and center so you have a very nice view of a sunset. Short drive to restaurants (our favorite was The Cottage) and activities.
