Quaint and tidy stay in the central of town

Overall, I can’t give high enough marks to the chalet. Their communication was impeccable, and the overall value was amazing. The room had everything we needed for our short stay, and they were very quick to respond when we reached out. I would highly recommend I would give more than five stars if possible.

Lake Shore Chalet

We will definitely go back. We would like to take advantage of the Chalet and the proximity to going to a concert located behind Harvey’s. All in a very short walk. No parking fee on site is a plus too. Super cute and definitely comfortable.

Cozy, comfy, cool, and quaint

This is our fourth time staying at South Lake Chalet. It’s very clean, quiet, and the staff is very quick to reply and very accommodating to any requests. It’s close to town, within walking distance, and close to Lakeside Park Beach. This year we came to new & beautiful landscaped entryway at South Lake Chalet with a small little creek and waterfall that makes it a little more private and quaint. We tell all our friends about it as this is our favorite place to stay in Tahoe. We will be back soon!

Cozy Cabin Vibes

Nice, clean little place. I’ve stayed here a couple of times and plan on staying here again in the future. You can’t beat the location - it’s within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Although, there are a lot of hotels nearby, it is quiet and the rooms are recessed which helps minimize traffic noise.

The place was extremely clean and it had an amazingly comfortable bed. The check in was smooth and easy with the code. It’s within walking distance to almost everything which is really convenient. The staff was great and very helpful especially with the fireplace. It was a great way to spend a vacation and well worth the money. Definitely going to stay here again.

Loved staying at this property because it was so close to Heavenly Village, the communication was clear & quick, and it was so clean & cozy! Parking on site is lovely because you have a designated spot, so everything is so well organized. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting South Lake Tahoe!

Gem in Tahoe area!

Great modern decor with extra touches for comfort! Eye masks and ear plugs, sound machine (although the place was very quiet), nice selection of teas and coffees, including pour-over—fantastic!, plush towels, including makeup towels and make-remover cloths, toiletries , slippers, pet towel, fireplace, refrigerator and microwave, dishes and glassware, soft sheets and pillows. Two chairs outside for a relaxing spot listening to the fountain. The one level was nice and a designated parking space. A couple charges available for EV’s. Every accommodation was thought about and great location to many restaurants and attractions— definitely will rerun!

2nd time staying

This is our second time staying here and after the first 5 star trip we had to book here again. And I can say we will be back for a 3rd. This is off the strip so you still have the peace and quiet with the ease of walking distance to everything. Scooters were amazing as well to get around. Staff was very helpful and super quick to respond to anything we needed. Very kind people. Place is very clean and kept up great. Bed is super comfy and ac and heater work AMAZING.

Tahoe at its best

This property is a jewel. If you are all about the digital and tech experience, along with modern and upscale rooms, this is for you. Since the communications were clear and concise, I was able to get everything to work. It's a good location to launch your South Lake experience. And it was surprisingly quiet given the parking lot is right outside your room. I'll return! Thank you!
