Our stunning four-floor home is secluded on a quiet side street but also less than a 5-minute drive from downtown Birmingham! Enjoy S'mores or enjoy an evening glass of wine outside on our patio around our fire pit or cook a big dinner in our gorgeous entertaining living room + kitchen area (and use the basement prep kitchen for additional space!). Play a game of pool or entertain in our expansive basement, complete with lots of seating and a theater setup! Not only a stone's throw to downtown, but also a quick drive to Royal Oak, Berkley, Ferndale, and Beaumont Hospital, this is the perfect spot for any gathering or getaway!
Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, Amazon Fire smart TVs, French Roast coffee pods + Keurig, a Nespresso machine and Nespresso pods, Memory Foam beds, fresh linens, in-home high-tech washer/dryer, Solimo bath products, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Message us if there’s anything we can help with!

Our three-story home has a half bath along with a living room, kitchen, and a pool table room located on the ground floor. The second floor has 3 bedrooms all with their own en suite bathrooms. Up another flight of stairs is another bedroom with an en suite bathroom located on the third floor. Located in the finished basement is a screening room along with a small kitchenette. The backyard has a small patio with outdoor furniture.

99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.
We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.

We have a garage that fits 2 cars, with room for 2 - 3 additional cars in our driveway (tandem - it - blocks the garage). We are located on a safe, quiet street which also provides plenty of additional parking if you need it!
Entry

The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and on the back door. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.
When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.
Extra Sleeping Arrangements

Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.

We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:
- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.
- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.
- Please leave your shoes at the door.
- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.
- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.
- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.

While access to public transportation is not easily available from our house, UBER and LYFT run consistently in the area and are quick, cheap, and accessible options to get anywhere in the Birmingham/Royal Oak/Ferndale and Plymouth/Northville/Canton areas!
