Nestled along Florida’s Nature Coast, Island Place Condominiums offer a serene island escape surrounded by the natural beauty of Cedar Key. Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required.

Pet Friendly:
Pets are welcome with a $50 fee per pet, per visit (maximum one pet). Pets must be approved, are not permitted on beds or furniture, may not be left unattended if barking, and must be cleaned up after outdoors. Unauthorized pets will result in a $300 charge.

Additional Information:
• Grills are park-style and located at the end of the complex. Please bring your own utensils, charcoal, grill brush, and lighter fluid.
• No boat parking is available onsite. Public boat parking is located one block east or two blocks north, behind the museum.

Great Views Near Everything

This place is perfect for a couple who want to avoid the stairs and be on the water with a beautiful view. It's literally about a quarter mile from almost every restaurant in town and even closer to the free fishing pier.

Love Cedar Key and this place is perfect. So clean, have everything you need. Pure joy and peace sitting on the balcony watching the water, birds and sites. Communication was amazing and so friendly. Will be staying longer next time.

Great stay, most likely be back.

Only issue we had and why no 5 star was there was a issue we made them aware of about the water in the bathroom and never received any response. It did not hinder our stay since it was so short but just wanted them to know so someone could check on it.

This End Unit Sits Right Next to the Pool and Is Water Front! Perfect for Watching the Gorgeous Cedar Key Sunsets and Watching the Dolphin Play. The Back Porch Is Our Fav Spot. We Enjoy Every Stay & Count the Days Until We Can Return! The Bed and Pull Out Couch Are Both Comfy. The Washer & Dryer are a Plus! A Fully Kitchen Stocked Makes It Easy for Long Stays. Highly Recommend This Unit & Island Place Condos!

16th Anniversary

This was our 16th Anniversary. We honeymooned in Cedar Key and wanted to go back! This unit was right on the water, the back deck was across from the pool and a great view of the water. It was quiet, no outside noise. Unit was clean. We did forget our ice pods in the freezer and requested management to mail them to us via USPS but that has fallen by the wayside. No reply via email or cubes in mail. We did contact them in a timely manner. Other than that this was a very nice unit! Please don’t miss out on this little getaway property!!

Cedar Key condo

Lovely location with mostly nice furnishings. Kitchen is attractive and nicely appointed. Bed is great and love the easy to use window coverings. Location has spectacular views from a nice deck overlooking the gulf. TV and thermostat are somewhat confusing; two hvac systems apparently with only one actually making a difference in temperature. TV is a ROKU tv connected to a dish network service so needed both remotes to navigate programming. Overall a nice property in a great location.

Wonderful View, clean, and soft bed!

A very nice stay. Loved the view! We saw dolphins from the balcony! The room was cozy and nice! The only problems was the TV in the bedr9 did not work. The pool was not heated at all! We froze. Otherwise, clean, great view, soft bed and private. Close to everything. We walked everywhere.
