About this property

Bandera Suite - The Walpole Lodge, Mico, TX

Our most-booked room sits on the top floor of the Lodge, under real log beams. A queen bed in the main bedroom, plus a second bedroom with a double futon and crib — room for four, with the deep quiet the top floor gets. Your own full bath, your own climate controls, and the run of the shared spaces: wrap-around decks, the kitchen, the game room with its re-felted pool table. The peacocks start at six. We serve a complimentary continental breakfast at your leisure, and we're live-in hosts — knock if you need anything. Fifteen minutes from Bandera, forty from San Antonio, with a view of Medina Lake from the ridge. Check-in after 3 pm, check-out before 11 am. Note: you're booking one private room, not the whole Lodge — but the porch is yours either way.

We visited Texas for the 20024 eclipse and we had a great stay at Bandera Suite bed and breakfast. Room had everything we needed. Hosts are extremely nice and welcoming people and the lady of the house will make you a delicious breakfast. If you can swallow your pride you can play a game of Pacman with her. She will definitively beat you :-). Leah (cat) and Sandy (dog) are great addition to the house and our kids enjoyed playing with them. Leah was even sleeping with them.

Excellent!

First time vrbo but the owners were wonderful to us during our stay. Very welcoming and warm, just comfortable as if we knew them already. The place is absolutely beautiful with a view of the lake. We enjoyed smores by the fire, hot breakfast with the warm.hospitality. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!
