The cabin is so beautiful!! Best place we have stayed in so far! The property managers are very easily accessible, helpful and friendly! They even sent links with recommended places to go/see in the area.
This property was exactly what was in the add. Beautiful views, great amenities. Owners responded very quickly to messages and even gave recommendations for my wife and I anniversary dinner.
The property was as advertised. Very clean and cozy cabin close to everything that we wanted to do. The parking was a little tight and the hot tub wasn’t hot enough. Other than that it was perfect. Enjoyed our stay.
This cabin did not disappoint! It was better than the pics showed. Very clean. Had every convenience you could ask for. Very easy to get to the cabin. We will rent again. 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Well maintained and wonderful views. Beautiful cabin on the inside. Liked the open layout in the living room/kitchen area.
Bed was ok, mattress seemed older because there were noticeable sinking divots on each side. Hot tub display is not working correctly and was difficult to operate. Got excited when I saw the French press on the counter when we arrived but was disappointed when I couldn’t find a tea kettle to boil the water.
Everything was great. The only issue we had was the linens for the master bedroom did not look like they had been changed. (We found multiple hairs in the bed, and the sheets looked dingy and ready for replacement). Outside of that issue, the house was clean and well cared for. It was very convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Beautiful scenery and a great view from the deck. The hot tub was clean and easy to operate. We were not at the cabin much, so we didn't use a lot of the additional amenities.
Easy to get to, yet private cabin in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.
LYLE’S CLEAR VIEW cabin is a short distance off of Wears Valley Road and easy to get to. The deck offers a beautiful view of other mountains across the valley. The deck's private hot tub also offered a clear view of the night sky if you're into star and moon gazing. The nighttime lights of hillside cabins scattered across the valley is really cool.
Inside, the cabin has everything you need, fast WiFi internet, cooking vessels, nice appliances, and utensils, comfy seating, several TVs, large bathrooms, gas fireplace and lots of lighting.
The parking was pretty simple even with our full-size pickup.
Communication with the owners was quick and easy.
Overall, we had a very relaxing and quality experience here :-)
During our stay at the cabin we ran out of LPG for the fire place. The property manager was excellent to work with, extremely responsive, and gracious enough to refund some of our rental costs. The issues started when the property manager made this request to VRBO and VRBO communicated that they were unable to complete this request due to "technical issues related with the system". After several days the property manger issued me a refund directly apologizing for the process taking so long. On 12/1/2022 I requested an explanation from VRBO concerning the "technical issues with the system" and as of 12/12/2022 have not received a response from VRBO.
I enjoy this cabin. It’s not far off the beaten path, yet you have privacy. This is my second stay at Lyle’s Clearview and it was every bit as clean as it was when I stayed a year or two ago. The place is as advertised and I hope to continue to stay here.
The cabin was clean and nicely prepared for our visit. there were no check out instructions so we tried to leave everything like we found it. The road noise is less than desirable as the cabin is sandwiched between two roads.
The cabin was well stocked and cozy and the beds were nice and soft with plenty of pillows. The drive to the cabin was easy and parking was plenty for one car possibly two with still room to turn around. The view from the back porch let us see the mountains every morning. Only difficulty was that it's close enough to the road that you can hear cars come down at certain times of day but not constantly. Would consider renting this one again
