My brother and I were born and raised in Starkville from a "blue collar" family. Our dad was a policeman and was appointed Chief of Police and our mom worked for the telephone company. Needless to say we knew just about everyone in town and have many friends still living in Starkville.
We are both retired now living in the Jackson metro area. My brother, a successful business owner. I was a successful real estate agent. With both parents having passed away we wanted a place to come back home to. We bought this home a couple of years ago and completed gutted it except for 2 bedrooms. Like most building projects this one took longer than expected and we ran into problems that took us completely by surpise. But we are so happy with the results.

It is close to downtown and campus. If you enjoy sports it is a perfect place for couples to stay or bring your family.

What makes this property unique

Besides being close to campus it is a comfortable older updated home with large living spaces. The kitchen is more than spacious and furnished with all the cooking and baking equipment needed to prepare and serve any meal. The large deck allows for spillover gathering or a sit down meal.
