Quiet retreat in Star Valley Ranch. Property was very clean, with all items we needed. Would definitely stay again if in the area. The community has golfing, swimming and hiking and is an hour drive to Jackson Hole/Grand Teton NP.
Property was nice and clean and centrally located for what we wanted to do in the Star Valley area. Location is beautiful. Owner is very responsive and resolved our minor issue within hours. The cabin was well stocked and pleasantly surprised with the extra amenities of games and cooking supplies. Wonderful place for a small group.
Perfect little cabin. Each kid had their own space and their own little loft. We had our own space downstairs to handle the little baby and not wake the kids. It was beautiful outside and just far enough outside of town to enjoy it.
This property was in a nice wooded neighborhood about 1.5 hours from Grand Teton National Park. Beds were very comfortable and set up of cabin fit our family. Would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues due to the stairs to enter cabin and very narrow stairs to 2 bedrooms/living space upstairs. Our special needs son was able to go up/down outdoor stairs ok and slept in bedroom on main level which worked fine for us. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful setting. Would highly recommend following directions sent by owner NOT those on google maps.
The cabin was very comfortable and clean. We loved the property setting, being nestled among the aspens. We had everything we needed and wanted in the house. We would stay again. Thank you so much, Bruce
Went up for a weekend of snow mobiling and snowshoeing. There was a ton of new snow which made for quite the adventure. The cabin was wonderful, warm and cozy. Everything was clean and the host was on top of everything. 10 out of 10. Looking forward to coming back sometime soon.
This is an absolute gem! The cabin is set up very well for having private space upstairs and down. The area is stunning and quiet. It was clean, stocked well, and much, much more comfortable and tasteful than expected. If anything, the description and pictures are modest: the cabin is awesome!
There is great dining very close, also.
The Host communicates very well and timely. It is evident that she actually cares about her Guests and the property.
We strongly recommend this cabin and this Host for any stay in the area.
Decided to take our parents up to see the Tetons in the fall (only a 1.5hr drive from Star Valley, and very scenic!). Glad we found this spot nestled so perfectly in a sea of shimmering yellow aspens. It was only really cold one night, and the cabin was so cozy with the floorboard heaters. The kitchen is really well-stocked for a rental. We only cooked breakfast, but could’ve done much more! (hello, grill on the back patio)
The layout was great for our folks to take the downstairs BR, and we stayed upstairs. Would be perfect for a family with kids. The only thing we found limiting was splitting the one bathroom for 4 adults, 2 elderly. Not terrible, but we did have to plan extra time to get ready in the mornings. Also, as noted in other reviews, the stairway has short steps and would be difficult for a mobility impaired person, but totally fine otherwise if you just take your time and watch your step. Loved spending each beautiful and peaceful morning having coffee on the patio amidst the soft sound of quaking aspens. Would definitely go back!
My two sisters and I stayed three nights at this cabin for a sister’s retreat. We enjoyed activities in the surrounding area, cooked, played games and watched movies. It was very clean and pretty comfortable. Just a couple of complaints: 1-the washing machine was not working and had a note that it needed to be repaired, so if we needed to wash clothes, we were out of luck, despite being told that there was a washing machine available. We always make sure to have a washer/dryer when we are traveling. Disappointed. 2-the back deck area wasn’t swept or the table cleaned. We shouldn’t have to clean an area that we have paid to use for our stay. 3-everything else was very clean in the kitchen except the inside of the oven. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, felt safe and would probably stay again, making sure the above things were clean and working. There is great WiFi, air conditioning and the bathroom is a good size, it wasn’t too small for three women sharing it. Worked out great and overall a wonderful time.

The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The host was easily accessible and accommodating. If you are looking for proximity to Yellowstone, it is a bit of a drive, but with beautiful scenic views. We enjoyed our stay!
Everything was perfect at the cabin, the only thing is that it is a little farther from most of the attractions wich are in Jackson Hole. But if what you want is just be apart, it is so nice place.
It was a hassle free experience with all the amenities we needed

About the host

It has always been a dream of mine to take my family into the woods of Wyoming and settle into a cabin together to make memories. This year we finally embarked on this journey and while we can't always make it to Star Valley, we decided that when we're at home in Utah, we'd like to share our cabin with YOU! We hope you enjoy Wyoming as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
Not only do we love this cabin with its modified A frame style and rough cut worm wood, but we LOVE the area of Star Valley. If you love golfing, boating, fishing, hunting, hiking, ATVing, Snowmobiling, Snow-showing, River Rafting, among many other outdoor adventures, than you'll love it here too!
What makes this property unique
The coziness of this cabin attracted me. While we've stayed in a few huge cabins, I have the mindset that getting away as a family means bonding time. If I had my way we'd have no electronics at the cabin, but, lets be realistic. We still have WIFI and TV's to 'watch the games' while away. But...we're still in close proximity and can go do tons of fun things together.
