Just 2 blocks from our door is the local favorite spot at Fisherman's Beach, sited is the historic Fish House, the oldest municipal fishing building in the US. (Beach towels, buggy, beach chairs, and toys provided for guests.) Nearby history buffs can explore the stunning architectural span of the Olmsted Historic District, a subdivision planned by the Frederick Law Olmsted firm; stop into Town Hall, the former home of GE founder and inventor Elihu Thomson; or take a coastal drive to see the many grand estates of Boston's elite former summer homes.
Head north to neighboring Marblehead or Salem to visit museums, historic sites, and shopping/dining. Close to the Swampscott commuter rail, you can head south 2 train stops into Boston via North Station to catch a game or concert or explore the city, or hop one stop north into Downtown Salem. Catch the ferry service from nearby Lynn with a scenic trip into Boston's Long Wharf (May-Oct). Details provided in our visitor book.

Our property offers a keyless private entry, private balcony to a terraced patio area, equipped with grill, patio table and chairs.

A twin cot is available to rent at $50/night additional guest fee with minimum 48 hour advanced notice. Max adult occupancy is 6. Bunk bed is for children only.

NO smoking/vaping of any kind is permitted in the unit or on the property, that includes the private and common areas.
Our unit is fitted with window air conditioner units in the summer season (June 1 - October 1) no central a/c, and fans are also provided. Our property is within 500 feet of the ocean.

If you need any suggestions on activities we are here as your resource. We live next door to our short term rental and are excited to share our fabulous location with you! We have outfitted our rental to offer a home away from home, just like what we are looking for when we travel with our young kids.
What makes this property unique
Our property offers a prime location in a residential neighborhood and around the corner from many fabulous restaurants, cafes, a bakery, and shopping. Book a sunset glow paddle at Fisherman's Beach, or a sunset cruise from Salem Harbor. We are a 12 minute stroll to the train or a 20 min drive into Downtown Boston.
