Perfect Lakefront Getaway

The setting on a small point at Lake Brienz is just incredible! We loved the beautiful view from all three levels of the emerald water and mountains surrounding the town. The layout of the house was also great for multiple family members to be together or have some private space. It was also a great central location to day trip to many of the top locations we wanted to explore in Switzerland from the major peaks close by to the cities of Lucerne and Bern. The hosts were gracious, responsive and helpful, and we loved our time here!

Great spot on a peninsula on Lake Brienz

A great spot for family, especially kids old enough to climb down the ladder and into the lake. A great back yard and family house. Only issue is the Glatz umbrella that is in need of replacement. The local contact was very responsive and helpful. We lost hot water and they reacted and fixed it immediately.

Home with picture perfect views

Beautiful home with spectacular views. The home is equipped with anything you need to prepare meals and enjoy your stay. Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our week here. Centrally located to fantastic hiking and something to do for everybody. A week was not enough to discover it all.

Christmas in Brienz

The house was incredible. The view was amazing. We enjoyed watching the ducks and swans. The only problem was finding the house the first time. It was well located for skiing and the slopes were not over crowded. Kitchen was outstanding and well equipped. Living room was comfortable. We had a great time.

Unbezahlbare Lage!

Direkt am Wasser mit viel Privatsphäre. Wir hatten eine unglaublich gute Zeit in diesem schönen Haus. Zu Fuss ist man in 20 Minuten in Brienz am Bahnhof, beim Bootsverleih, am Hafen, im Tierpark und vielem mehr. Keine 5 Minuten entfernt liegt eine lokale Brauerei mit einer grossen Auswahl an Getränken (Freitag- und Samstagnachmittag geöffnet). Viele schöne Ausflugsziele sind gut erreichbar wie z.B. die Giesbachfälle, Iseltwald, Interlaken oder Meiringen.

:) Die Lage, die Aussicht, das Haus: traumhaft. Wie in allen Bewertungen schon so beschrieben. :( Im OG haben 2 Zimmer Blick auf den See. Jedoch hat nur 1 Zimmer ein Doppelbett, das andere Bett ist nur 1.20 m. breit. Warum? Das 3. Zimmer ist ein dunkles, unfreundliches Zimmer, indem niemand schlafen will. Nicht zu diesem Preis. Im OG quietschen die Schlafzimmertüren. Wir waren 3 Paare und erwarten für diesen Preis eine bessere Möblierung.

Reinigung der Küche und des Rasens ( übersät mit Kohle vom Grill) mangelhaft. Organisation der Reparatur der von dem vom Sturm zerstörten Einstieg in den See von vorhergehenden Woche. Mangelhafte, ungenaue Kommunikation mit uns und kein Angebot von einer vorübergehenden Alternative als Einstieg in den See. Frau B. reagierte auf unser Anliegen, dass der für uns sehr wichtige, private Zugang in den See nicht nutzbar war, sehr ungehalten und nur bestehend aus der Aussage, dass es Versicherungs

Absolutely Amazing

The Chalet Aaregg was everything we needed, plus more. The property is exactly described as advertised. There were a group of us from the US that stayed in this peaceful home for six days and it was nothing short of accommodating. On the exterior, the home features the look of a vintage Swiss house, however, the inside was newly renovated with everything we needed. The house sat directly on the lake with a view like no other. Ms. Katja was extremely polite and resourceful which made our stay even more pleasurable. I will DEFINITELY stay here again! Thank you for making the Switzerland experience awesome!

Das Haus liegt direkt am See. Das Biotop ist wunderschön... Es bietet genug Platz für eine große Familie. Super war das es 2 Badezimmer und 3 WCs zur Verfügung hat. Der Platz im Wohnbereich ist großzügig und es findet jeder seine Wohlfühlecke. An der Haus Fassade ist erkennbar, das es schon einige Jahre am See steht und somit der Witterung ausgesetzt ist. Viele Spinnweben sind vorhanden. Wir haben 2 Liegestühle mitgenommen dass alle 6 eine liege Möglichkeit hatten, 2-3 Sitzkissen zu We
