I would agree with most of the reviews posted for this unit. The few worth repeating are the fact that the bed is near the entrance of the unit as well as the facility, it can get a bit noisy at night when trying to sleep. Besides that the unit worked out well for us. The facility itself was great and well maintained. The kids loved the pools. The unit is close to the beach and downtown restaurants so that was great too.

Perfect getaway

This is the secind time my husband and I have stayed at this property and we will definitely be booking again and again when we stay in Lake Geneva. The property is centrally located to everything. You have a beautiful view of the lake when you walk outside. You are eitin walking distance of the Riviera and many restaurants right sround there. You can walk to the downtown where there are many cute stores. The room itself is a great location because its the first room as soon as you walk into the Cove and up the stairs or ramp. Elevator is right there to get to the pool. You are also right by the Cove's coffee bar if you wanted to grab something in the morning. It was easy to get a hold of the owner when needed & went above and beyond for us, the room was beautifully remodeled, the room had a nice sitting area overlooking the pool area. I highly reccomend booking this proprty for you next stay at Lake Geneva

Great stay & location

We had a great time during our stay! The location was perfect, in walking distance from the water, watersports, shops and restaurants. The fridge and freezer sizes met our needs perfectly. Loved the ambiance of the condo. The bathroom needs updating (looked like a DIY) but was generally clean. Definitely recommend!

Overall it was a pleasant stay. It was nice to be near the entrance and breakfast coffee bar. however it did get busy and loud due to being near the entrance on Sunday but less traffic On Mobday and Tuesday.

Great condo

We were disappointed that the pool closed the day after Labor Day and the temperature was in the 80’s. The condo was in a great location!! We liked the restaurant on site. We would come back and stay here. Everything was presented well in the pictures.

Fantastic location

My husband, 2 kids and I stayed here for Winter Fest and had a great weekend! The location can't be beat right on the lake and walking distance to all the great Lake Geneva shops and restaurants! The indoor pool and hot tub were a great amenity and the unit was very clean, comfortable and felt spacious for our family of 4 for the weekend. We really liked that the room is right by the resort lobby as it was quick to get to the pool and attached restaurant. We definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Pros: great location, decently decorated, resort has lots to do. Cons: condo needs a good deep cleaning. Balcony was dirty and has a huge vent that blows and smells like gas.

The Host was excellent! However, the floor needs to be washed (not carpet). The bottom of our feet were black! Also, the checkout time needs to be consistent with the other units in the facility.

Great stay at The Cove of Lake Geneva

Myself and two friends stayed the weekend at this VRBO at The Cove of Lake Geneva. Location is fabulous. Easy walking to downtown, even in the colder weather. Easy parking for us all with parking passes. The attached restaurant/bar (Lake City Social) has good food/drinks at a nice price. The condo itself was well appointed with furnishings, with the basic condiments, glassware and plates in the kitchen. A regular coffee pot and Keurig k-cup (with some coffee in stock) also available. Overall it was a great stay, hoping to do it again sometime soon!

Nice but…

The Cove is nice, the check in going through VRBO was easy and the host was responsive. I did not like the location of the unit. Its not a one bedroom, it is a studio. The door to the unit opens and the lobby is right there- so anyone who is standing in the lobby can see into your room, and the bed is right when you enter. I also would have saved a substantial amount of money booking directly through the hotel- and I viewed another room that seemed to me to be just as large. I wouldn’t go through vrbo again for this type of stay

Not that impressed.

The outdoor balcony table and chairs were dirty; used towels to sit on the chairs and didn't put anything on the table. The bed pillows were kind of yellowed, and the blankets available for use on the couch and gross old stains on them. This really downgraded how we thought about the place. Also, the owner expected us to play maid before we left; I think there was a cleaning fee we paid for someone else to clean up. Kind of tacky.

TERRIBLE.LOUD!!! not what I was expecting at all. By far this has to be the worsed VRBO I had ever stayed in. First I never would have booked this place if I had any indication that it was right next to the lobby and the elevator, and to top it off the bed was the first thing you walk in. Who put a bed next to the main hallway,elevator, lobby. Didn't sleep well at all. Everything dusty, the smell off mold in the shower. The furniture was way to big for that space,and the floors could use a deep cleaning, actually the whole place could use a deep clean. The coffee machine still had old water in it that was cloudy, soon to be mold im sure well I could go on and on but I hope you get the picture, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!

Avg Unit but location good

This is a hotel room converted into a rental. The room is on the 1st floor right next to lobby and elevator so it was difficult to sleep and having the bed right when you walk in by the door made it worse. Room was dated and showed a lot of wear & tear- cups and bowls with cracks, chips and scratches, bathroom door was difficult to shut and open. Most annoying was the shower - which leaked into bathroom floor, water never got hot and 1 shower head was too high to reach so forced to use handheld which had weak water pressure. It would have been nice to get a hot shower. Expected a much nicer rental for the price.
