Welcome to Serenity by the Sea, Side A! (You can also rent side B by checking our other listing at VRBO#1114068) Located less than a mile from the popular pier in Surf City, our newly updated, 4 bedroom OCEANFRONT home is the perfect place for your next family getaway! This house has enough room for everyone with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Wake up to the sound of the waves. Forget dragging all your beach gear every day since you can just step outside onto your balcony and walk down the stairs to the beach.

There isn't any need to bring a thing! This house comes fully equipped with a kitchen full of everything you need to prepare meals and memories. There are 4 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 8 people (2 queen size beds, 1 Bunk Bed with twin size beds, 2 twins for a total of 6 beds in 4 rooms) and 3 full baths. The home has Wi-Fi, 3 televisions with cable and tons of games for kiddos! Only one dog under 50lbs is permitted on the property. Please do not inquire if you have multiple dogs. We only allow for one dog.

Surf City was recently named one of the top ten best small town beaches and is perfect for those looking for less of a commercial feel and more of the perfect family vacation to remember.

Linens are NOT included in your stay, but you can bring your own or contact Sweet Dreams Linen Service on the island!

When you stay here, you'll feel the warmth our family put into making this a place for other families to enjoy and make memories! We can't wait to have you at Serenity by the Sea!

Great Family Vacation

We had three generations of family on the trip, including celebrating an 80th birthday and a 57th birthday, and everyone had a wonderful time. The location is great and the view is great. This rental is not super fancy, but it's fancy enough and very nice and had everything we needed. The property manager and owner were both very nice. We would definitely rent it again.

Beautiful home and location

House was just as listed, plenty of room. Beds were comfortable and living area was spacious for my party of 8. I loved being right on the beach, it was perfect for spending a week on the beach, we could sit on the porch and enjoy the waves, or walk right out to the beach to enjoy the sand and water. Host communicated as needed and even checked in us when they heard there was a house fire a couple blocks down. This home will be saved to my favorites for our next trip.

Great for families!

My family is from the area, and we vacation frequently in Surf City and on Topsail Island, during the summer and on Thanksgiving or Christmas. This place was perfect for us, and the location is ideal. Property owners were attentive and responsive, and the free donuts were a wonderful surprise! Highly recommend!

Amazing stay at Serenity By The Sea

Highly recommend! This was the perfect retreat for our ‘mama beach weekend’. It was clean, had all the amenities we needed and literally just a few steps to the beach. It was walking distance to shops and bars which made it super convenient. The host was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend.

Lovely ocean front property! We had 8 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. The porches were amazing to enjoy a coffee while watching the waves. Amenities included were amazing and they even gave us a free dozen of doughnuts to pick up!!!

Lovely, clean home, RIGHT on the beach. Beautiful views and easy access to town! Two kids (3, 4 1/2) had the best time playing the games at the house and collecting shells on the beach.

Why they chose this property

Our family LOVES the beach so we were thrilled when we bought our first property in Surf City. When our neighbors went to sell this property, adjacent to ours, we knew it would be the perfect place for large family gatherings so we bought it! We love that we can now offer TWO sides of this amazing place to accommodate up to 20 people!
