The property is enormous with plenty of amenities and is very close to downtown Falmouth and a beautiful bike trail. I stayed here with a bunch of friends and has an incredible time. Would love to stay here again.
Fantastic property for a group in Falmouth. Perfect layout for everyone to have their own space, but also great communal spaces. Having the two kitchens was an absolute bonus.Location is perfect for walking into town or biking to the beach.Would absolutely book again, gem of a property!
Our family enjoyed the character of this old home very much. The beds were all comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the convenience to beach and town was great!
Lovely historic home within walking distance to town
Wonderful stay for our family reunion. This historic home has lots of interesting nooks and crannies. Large dining room with two tables so we could all eat together. 6 bathrooms so no wait. Large backyard and short walk into town. Wonderful stay.
We met my daughter’s young man’s whole family here for a week long vacation, filled with bocce, biking and beaches. There was plenty of room for us to cook together, and play games, as well as space for privacy when it was needed. Two kitchens was a bonus, as one was used for cooking, the other for beverages. It was the perfect space for us.
We took full advantage of this big older home during our 4th of July week stay with 4x families. The 2x kitchens including 2x dishwashers was key along with the number of bathrooms. Group dinners in the yard, nights around the fire pit, and the young ones playing ball in the yard with the older kids made our stay truly special. For others, note that the yard is a side yard that does butt up to a busy road. Our little ones took heed and played there safely with no issues. The proximity to downtown Falmouth, the bike trail and beaches could not be beat. It’s an older, quirky home, but was great for our large group!
My extended family has been gathering for Thanksgiving every year since the late sixties. In those days, we gathered at Aunt Cacky’s outside of Philadelphia. What I love about this house for Thanksgiving is that it has all the charm and ambience of Cacky’s house but with the amenities of two kitchens with modern appliances. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming, and the house definitely felt like we were home for the holiday. The house is perfect for any large family gathering, especially if you love to cook. Highly recommended!
The house feels like a historic home with many nooks and crannies. Staying there feels as though we went back in time in a good way. It’s like a maze going around the home. It has so much characters with a strong the family warmth. House is very walkable to Falmouth Center and walking distance to the beach and shore line.
We had a great time with lots of space to accommodate our introvert and extrovert folks. Multiple bathrooms help a lot.
We all loved the house at first sight. It was fun trying to find our way around, picking out bedrooms for everyone. There was plenty of room and it was well equipped with anything you might need.
A couple of downsides for me were thay it is on a very busy street, so it was a little noisy and difficult to make a left turn out of the driveway. Also I would have loved to open some windows for fresh air, but i understand the need to keep the house climate controlled.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back here.
My writing group stayed here for a long weekend and had a great time. The location in particular is great; downtown Falmouth and some lovely nature trails are within walking distance. It's also nice to have a space large enough for everyone to have their own room.
This historic home is great for large family gatherings. Lots of nooks and crannies make it interesting. Two tables in the dining room allow for large group meals. Short walking distance into town. Wonderful stay.

Historic and quirky
We discovered the pros and cons of staying in a historic house. The room layouts were peculiar (e.g. four bathrooms are all on one hallway). If anyone in your group has mobility issues, the house can be a bit tricky to navigate. The taller people in our family hit their heads going through some of the smaller doorways. It is on a busy street with steady traffic (and noise). Pluses included the proximity to rail trail and beach, nice bikes available for usage, the bocci court and grill in the yard, and the provision of beach towels and linens.

Good but..
House is on a main road a very noisy at night. Not very kid friendly. Lots of glass doors and fragile trinkets. Overall stay was nice but won’t stay again.
Great house for large groups wanting to be together. Great location for ferry to Martha's Vineyard, Shining Sea Bike Path and and many restaurants on Main Street in Falmouth.
This house was fantastic for an iconic Cape Cod getaway on Memorial Day Weekend with our friends and family. There are plenty of beds and bathrooms, a great kitchen and dining space, and outside includes a beautiful porch and firepit in the backyard. They had extra beach towels and beach chairs for the short walk to the beach, and it was centrally located for getting into town for a bite. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking to get away with friends and family.
This home is charming, clean, and well equipped for all your needs! My family adored exploring the property and taking in all this home has to offer. It is set up PERFECTLY for a small party, complete with a well appointed kitchen for food prep and tons of plates, cups etc. There is something magical about this home & we are so thankful for the time we spent there. Thank you, Karen!
