Location: Just 90 minutes from Downtown Chicago, this fully furnished home will let you relax in a fun-filled small town that will entertain you with activities for the whole family. The house is 1 mile from the historic downtown and 3 county beaches.
Basics include: WIFI access, Smart (or smart-enabled) TVs, gas grill, microwave, dishwasher, central air conditioning, and 2 in the garage and 2 driveway parking spots.
Bedrooms and bathrooms: Upstairs the main bedroom has a queen sized bed. The associated bathroom has a luxurious tub and a separate walk-in shower. The two other upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom and have queen beds. There also is a large loft area that opens to the upper level deck. It is great place to relax and watch TV. There is are two futon couches and a sofa that makes a great area for kids to hang out. Off the entrance and next to the first floor bedroom (*this bedroom holds a pullout bed/couch) is the 3rd full bathroom.
Kitchen: Here you will find an up-to-date kitchen which is fully furnished with all the cookware and dishes needed to prepare a gourmet meal.
Dining: There is a large dining area adjacent to the kitchen and living room with a table that sits 6 comfortably. There is a counter height/bar area with 4 barstools as well.
Living room: This area features a stone fireplace in addition to a relaxing view of the river. Two sliding doors give access to the lower deck. There is a sleeper sofa for kids or that extra guest. The open floor plan and 2 large decks allow for lots of space to enjoy your vacation. Unique to this house is that you have access to a pool, hot tub (both open seasonally) and a small park with playground and grassy area for play. In a short drive is the quaint downtown St. Joseph with great shopping and restaurants.
