The location is great and the owners were wonderful. They checked on us and Carol helped me find last minute baby items we needed which was a HUGE help. It was awesome to have the Hyatt right across the street but have all the amenities of a house!

Hi Layne, thank you for staying with us, we are so happy that you enjoyed your stay! Please come back and see us again. Until then, all the best to you and your family!
Happy Trails,
Carol & Buck
Good location & across the street from the Hyatt. The unit is "western theme" with lots of nostalgia. Carol (manager) is super accommodating, off the chart, best host I've ever encountered.
The location of this property is perfect! Just across the street there are boat and jet ski rentals. Our favorite part of this property was the deck, we ate all of our meals outside with a fantastic view! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. We would definitely go back!
We loved our time at Buck’s home in Incline! Perfect accommodation for our family vacation!
Carol was in touch with us the minute we expressed interest in the property. She assisted us with planning for our week away, and she stayed in touch with us throughout our stay to assure we had what we needed. Buck’s home is located a short walk from the water, and a quick drive to local restaurants and shops. We will be back!
We are frequent renters in Tahoe and this is one we will book again. It was a block from the Hyatt hotel and 1 block from the beach. The condo has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths downstairs with a spacious living area, kitchen with half bath upstairs, along with a large deck with an outdoor table. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and treats. The kitchen was well stocked. The condo was decorated with a western cowboy theme, which was charming, and the carpet was plush and comfortable.
Across the street the Hyatt has a small cafe and up the street there are a few restaurants, a liquor store and an ice cream shop.
The property managers, Buck and Carol, were amazing! Buck responded immediately to our request to add a day to our booking and he communicated with us days before our arrival with check-in procedures. Carol handled the day of check-in. She let us know the property was ready an hour early and she touched base with us during our stay to make sure everything was ok. We will be back!
The welcome and check in process were easy and smooth! We were greeted with a bottle of wine (though we don't drink). The kitchen contained more than expected in the way of spices, baggies, etc. A very warm environment ideally located close to the Hyatt and beaches!
This was the perfect place for our family vacation. We were in Incline Village for a family wedding at the Hyatt and the location couldn’t have been better, directly across the street. Our family fit perfectly in this 3 bedroom home. We came from LA, Boston, and Austin and loved playing games, eating, and just hanging out. So comfortable and welcoming. When we return to Incline Village we will definitely stay here again. Check in/out process was a breeze. Communication was very prompt. Everything as exactly as we expected. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home.
We got married across the street at Aspen Grove this weekend, and this was our place for where the girls in the bridal party were staying! It was an incredible location, it was clean, and it was decorated so adorably! We loved staying here and we know we are going to love to pictures of us getting ready in the beautiful living areas. Thank you so much!!
We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect.
Carol was extremely helpful with the check in process. The location was ideal, close to beach, restaurants and Hyatt. Beds were very comfortable. I would suggest getting some new frying pans. The carpet was dated. A larger TV in the main room would be a plus. We would definitely stay here again, because overall it was a great place.
After travelling for a few weeks it was lovely to have a beautiful condo in Incline Village. A couple of minutes from incline beach, restaurants and supermarket. No need to drive to the beach just walk!
We also joined the incline village recreation center (our daughter is a competitive swimmer so we were looking for a training pool!)- a brilliant price for the whole family to use all of their facilities during our stay, it was only round the corner. The staff were so helpful and welcoming!
The condo was easy to find and parking was not a problem.
My family has stayed in Bucks home many times, but this was the first time for the newest family member Ansel. He's 1 1/2. He loves the boats and the ducks (any bird)! Bucks beautiful place by the lake is comfortable, inviting, and easy. Carol added her personal gentle, kind, and welcoming touch and it is always an honor for me to stay in Bucks place. Thank you both so very much and we hope to be back every few years forever!
Incline Village is a lovely location but when you get to this property it is magical. We loved the large outdoor area - even though it was a cold Sunday evening we had an excellent BBQ. Beds were comfortable and with the ability to add layers if needed. Memorial Weekend was cold this year!
The kitchen had everything that we needed and we enjoyed cooking a few meals. This location is perfect. We were able to dine at several places within walking distance so this opened up our group into having some private meals as well as whole group meals. We enjoyed La Fondue, FUMO, Mt. High Sandwiches just to name a few. With a late night out at the Hyatt complete with gambeling, it was great.
With the wedding at Aspen Grove, we were able to get dressed up and take the easy stroll to the event. It was perfect.

Wonderful!
Beautifully decorated condo in a perfect location. The decor is tasteful and unique. It is conveniently located across the street from the Hyatt and the beach. The Lone Eagle Bar and Grill is just a short walk and has a spectacular view of the lake. The living room has ample seating and is very comfortable and cozy. We loved the huge stone fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need. It has a deck for relaxing outside and a nice gas barbecue. The place was spotless. I guarantee you won't find a more accommodating owner or manager. Both Buck and Carol will ensure that your stay is a good one. Carol called us shortly upon arrival to make sure everything was ok. I highly recommend this place for a family or friends get away. You won't be disappointed!

Plenty of room, loved the decor and historical materials.
Hi Buck and Carol, We had a wonderful time in Lake Tahoe. The location of the condo worked well with all the wedding events at the Hyatt, and to catch the shuttle. We loved the western decor and enjoyed the old books and pictures. We did have a hard time with the upstairs bathroom faucet. It was hard to turn on and off. Other than that everything was good. Beautiful view from the upstairs.

Loved it !
We stayed at this condo January 18, 2019 and we loved it ! If was very cozy, we loved the fact that it’s across the street from the Hyatt, which there’s a casino inside ! The condo was beyond our expectations! We didn’t bring any towels since we forgot and thought we had to buy some and then we realize one of the rooms had extra towels and blankets, even though we had the heater on since it was very cold but it was nice to know that they had extra blankets! Specially if u are planning to visit during the winter, Big plus ! Also the kitchen is very well stocked. We brought our own oil to cook and they had all those essentials that u find you’re self needing at hand in the kitchen. Also the owners were so communicated with me during our stay and before . Will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place glad stay !

Terrific property!
We loved our weekend at this condo. Great location across the street from the Hyatt made it convenient for wedding festivities. There are a few good restaurants right up the street. The beds, linens and pillows were comfortable. The great room and kitchen layout were perfect for our family. The kitchen was well stocked. Things to be aware of, we couldn’t find any games to play, so be sure to bring your own.
The master bath shower has so much potential, but the water restricting shower head was underwhelming. The master bath could use some updating and a deep cleaning, but it wasn’t so bad that we wouldn’t go back again. Carpet is kind of tired too. Really love this property, but think it needs some TLC.
The owners and manager were super nice and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend renting this place.

About the host
Hosted by Buck Norred and Carol Fowler
Buck Norred, one time rodeo cowboy and supplier of horses to western movie and TV shows, such as " Bonanza" is the owner of this property.
Back in the early 1970s, while providing horses for the Bonanza TV series, Buck needed a place to bunk and board his crew of wranglers while shooting scenes for the show and managing trail rides for the Ponderosa Ranch.
Although Buck Settled for a condo at that time farther from the Lake, he always kept an eye on this property should it ever become available. Then in 1996, he finally acquired it as a vacation home for himself. Now in 2009, it is available for discerning guests who will appreciate its history and eloquently appointed Tahoe decor.
Why they chose this property
We enjoy inviting family and friends as guests while we are there. There is something for everyone. There is so much to do around the lake. OR, just enjoy sitting out on the large deck and people watch with the lake in the background.
What makes this property unique
While staying here in this mountain home, we bicycle, ski, hike, and enjoy all the activities the Lake has to offer. We have enjoyed good company and relaxing times with our friends and family.
