Nice Quick Stay

We chose to stay at Sugar Beach for a couple of days before the rest of the family got down. Overall our stay was ok. We were a little confused about the pool hours. The listed hours are from 8 to 11 but when we tried to take a night swim at 9:30 all three pools were locked up.

False Advertisement

I was very disappointed in the accommodations and chose to leave and stay somewhere else. I feel the pictures of both the townhome and facilities were VERY deceiving. This place was not nice at all and definitely not worth the price I paid. Upon arrival we sat on the bed and it made noise indicating if two people slept on it and moved during the night it would probably wake up the other in the room. The next thing we noticed was there were only sheets on the bed, no blanket or comforter. We looked around for them and determined there weren’t any sheets to put on the futon, or blanket for that either. Is this because the window unit was questionable? When we tried to use our phones to look up info we found we didn’t have Wi-Fi and the password wasn’t working. I was finally able to contact someone and they said they’d bring sheets and blankets. We left to go find another place to stay and when we got back there were two blankets in bags, no sheets for the futon One blanket in a bag was thrown on the bed and one was thrown on the futon. We packed our bags and left choosing to stay somewhere else that we felt was clean, up to date and safe. While we were checking the place out we tried to go on the balcony. The sliding glass door took two of us to open. The curtains that covered that door were too long and drug on the floor. The shower curtain in the bathroom did the same. After we left we were notified that the dishwasher was broken. This place is in bad shape and not worth the price. I hate to say it, but this place is a dump and the pictures are false advertising.
