This cute cozy house had everything we needed after a full day of hiking in the amazing national parks and monuments in the area.. The beds were comfy and it was quiet. We really enjoyed our stay!
Quaint little house! Easy communication and contactless entry. Privacy screening between main house and rental was thoughtful. Just fyi the Murphy bed is in the front room with the kitchen and love seat, so only one private room, but two double/queen size beds. Had dishes to eat off of and silverware.
This little house was the perfect place to stay for my weekend exploring the Monticello mountains. It was clean, cozy, and had a great internet connection! The kitchen had everything I needed for preparing my meals. And, I was very grateful for the soap and shampoo because I had forgotten mine!
Booked two nights but was ahead of schedule and disappointed we wasn’t able to stay! So cute! Only problem we had is that when we left to get dinner we couldn’t lock the keyless entry no matter what button we hit!
I stayed in Little House for 3 weeks while exploring The Needles District of Canyonlands. Little House is perfect for this because it’s closer to The Needles than Moab, and Monticello has a grocery store and several gas stations. Communication with the host was timely and helpful, especially because I needed a package delivered to the address. The property is safe and snug, very quiet, tucked behind the “Main House,” and separated by a tall fence. Little House has a 2-burner hot plate, a small sink, a small refrigerator and freezer, and a microwave. Two in-wall electric heaters (one in the bedroom, one in the living room) kept me warm during December/January. Wi-fi is smoking fast, so it’s great for catching up on work. Nearby, Loyd’s Lake provides a 2 mile gravel hiking path around the lake, with nice views and vault bathrooms. National forest land is just up the road (literally up…8,000 feet) from Monticello. This was a great place to stay as a home base from which to explore the beautiful area.
