A faithfully reproduced Mississippi paddle steamer invites you to a leisurely trip on the water, and on the 395 m long pier in the village you can let the sea breeze blow around your nose. Take a trip to Zingst (10 km), which, in addition to its captain's houses, harbor and pier, also has an experimentarium, swimming pool, miniature golf course and pony rides. The artists' village of Ahrenshoop (17 km), which is home to several galleries and exhibition houses with modern and classical art, is also worth a detour.
