lovely condo

Very nice, clean, quiet condo on 3rd floor (with elevator) of business area. Extremely well stocked with whatever you might need. Will definitely stay again. We did have issues getting in - miscommunication mostly, but the owner was right on top of it and very helpful.

The unit had not been cleared before we arrived. There were no sheets on the bed and the towels and blanket were in the washing machine waiting to be washed. We arrived at 6pm after having dinner with friends. It was two hours after the unit was supposed to be ready for us to occupy. When we reached the host he asked us to leave for 2 hours so he could have housekeeping clean and prepare the unit. We told him we had nowhere to go and asked if he had a different unit we could move to. He gave us the entry code for the unit beside the one we were to occupy. When we used that code we walked in on the people occupying that unit. We told him it was occupied and he then checked his records and admitted he’d made an error. We told him that his housekeeper could come clean the unit we had reserved but that we would just wait in the unit. He offered to refund one night of the charge for the week. So far we haven’t seen any refund processed. We had one full day without elevator service and no explanation for why the elevator wasn’t operating or how long it was expected to be out of service. There did not appear to be anyone working on the elevator to fix it. We received no response when we asked about the elevator. The unit has potential but I would not recommend this host.

Shower: low water pressure, sluggish drain. Bathroom sink far too tall. Bath "mat" was a dirty rug. Washer very noisy, but did work. Carpet felt dirty. Nice closet space. Otherwise, an ok stay.
