600 sq. ft. custom built cabin, 1 bedroom with sleeping loft; sleeps 6. Full kitchen with dishwasher and a utility room with laundry. Comfortable living room with cable TV & wi-fi. Great covered porch w/ swing overlooking pine & oak forest.
Private fire pit area w/ Adirondack chairs. Shared children play area w/ badminton/volleyball net. Fenced 3+ acre property backs up to national forest w/ hiking trails. Close to creeks & Blue Ridge reservoir. There is a discount offered on stays longer then 3 days, each additional day stayed is just $100.

This beautiful property had all of the necessary cooking utensils and they even had the fire pit set up and ready to light. The owners were kind and made us feel comfortable. Would recommend. Would be great for families too!

Just perfect! The cabin was wonderful, clean, cozy and had everything we needed, from the comfy bed to the fully stocked kitchen, grill, fire pit, and more! Nestled in the pines in a quiet hidden little neighborhood in the woods, wonderful elevated deck out back with pine tree views where we had coffee and watched the birds and squirrels. National forest just footsteps away made for some beautiful hikes while we gathered wildflowers for our kitchen table bouquet. Leon and his wife Linda are exceptional hosts, from calling us before we arrived to go over check in and provide clear instructions on finding the place to having fresh baked cookies waiting for us when we walked in. We don't have kids but the large property has a lot of kid friendly activities, hammoks, trampoline, heck there was even a zip line! We came to escape the heat and to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. She loved it, we loved it, we will be back!

As soon as we parked we were greeted by the hostess with fresh cookies. Walking in is just as better the pictures show and we couldn't have been any happier with the stay. The host (Leon) was very generous in accommodating our youngest so they can sleep more comfortably at night. Showed us around the property and it was all smooth sailing from there. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

10 out of 10!! This is an amazing property run by two of the loveliest people you will ever meet. The house is beautiful, and the property is incredible. There's about 3 acres to explore and wow are there awesome things to discover. Hammocks galore, games, fire pits, some play equipment, and more. It was such a delight to walk the property and discover all the extra features, more than we expected! It was a great romantic getaway for my husband and I, but next time we're definitely bringing our 3 year old. She will absolutely love it there. The house is cozy but has plenty of space for people to sleep and has 2 bathrooms. It's very clean, and just a stunning inside full of exposed wood, the craftsmanship is beautiful. There were even freshly baked cookies left for us! This is truly a special place. We got to re-charge, star gaze, connect with each other, and connect with nature. We can't wait to plan our next trip there!!

Relax at The Haven

Very nice. Weak wifi but manageable using my phone's hot spot. Two commodes was a plus. The weather was poor so we were not able to take advantage of the nice outdoor area. Would rent again.

The place is soooo cute, it was easy to find, and my kids loved playing outside here. Beds were super comfortable & we all slept great. They had some board/card games we were able to play in the evening together and another night we watched a movie. My boys gave it a 10/10 and teens are hard to impress!

Our guest house was built from trees we cut on our property which we milled on our saw mill.
We offer a discount price for each day you stay greater then 3 day. Each day stayed greater then the 3 is $100.
Our 7 day and 28 day stay are also discounted at 20% ( $800 for a 7day stay & $3200 for a month stay). So when you book a stay longer then 2 days the discount rate will be applied as a discount.
