Lovely, charming house on a beautiful lake. Very peaceful spot. Wonderfully responsive and friendly host. Our family had a great time and stayed cozy and warm for the first frost of season!

Great property for a holiday weekend stay. We loved the bike path and bikes available to use on the bike path. Amazing view of the lake and we were handy to a lot of great fishing spots which was great for my son who loves to fish. The house is in great shape, super comfortable, we would definitely stay here again if we were coming back to this part of MN

Fabulous place to stay!

Lovely Renovated Farmhouse by the Lake

A perfect stay for Carleton Family Weekend. The house is lovingly renovated and very comfortable, with everything you need on hand. The fire pit and game barn provide plenty of entertainment, and the dock is a beautiful place to sit with a book and a cup of coffee.

Beautiful lake house

We were only able to stay 2 nights but really loved the house & the amenities. Hopefully we can come back for a longer stay with our adult children. Loved having the game barn & all the recreation provided with the bikes, kayaks & canoe.

Excellent Property - Tons of Fun

We had three generations staying at the Lake House Farm and enjoyed every minute. It has everything necessary to cook meals, easy access, the lake is beautiful, and the game barn and amenities that are available (bikes, games and boats) just added to the experience. Much of our time was spent on the porch and patio just enjoying the view and each other. There is something for everyone to enjoy with this property.

BEAUTIFUL & PEACEFUL

The Lake House Farm was the perfect place for friends to hang out, relax and enjoy each other's company while taking in the gorgeous home and views. The owners are great to work with and respond quickly to emails. I would recommend this property to my friends and family.

Family Cabin Time

The house was charming and very clean. The view of the lake was gorgeous. The kitchen was well stocked with basics - even a fresh bag of coffee and filters! That was a nice touch! We enjoyed exploring the trail right behind the house.

We are six women who have been friends for more than 40 years and we try to meet somewhere once a year for a reunion. This year, we spent three days at Lake House Farm and everyone enjoyed it. A couple of us are bicyclists and they enjoyed the convenience of having bicycles on site that were almost like new. With the trail right behind us, they went for a ride every morning and the rest of us enjoyed walking the trail looking at the beautiful wild flowers. There's a nice beach just a mile down the road that we didn't discover until the last morning but would definitely spend some time there are on a hot day. Everyone was happy with the sleeping arrangements and there was coffee and filters there to start our day. The front porch has a lovely view of the lake at sunset. It was our favorite place to gather. We all agreed that we would like to return someday.

Comfortable Farmhouse

Our stay was comfortable and the home was stocked nicely with items we needed. Parking was not ideal in bad weather and the barn house game room is not heated and therefore unusable during winter months.
