The building is situated on the beautiful, sugar-white, powder-soft sand of the Gulf of Mexico where the Gulf, Perdido Pass, Perdido Bay and Old River come together. Beyond the view and the proximity to nearby shops and restaurants, you'll find this building to be rich in amenities: a barbecue area, indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, a steam room, an exercise room, and indoor and outdoor hot tubs. You'll also love your private balcony! The sunrises and sunsets are just stunning from this point of view. Watch commercial and recreational boats come in and out of the pass. Gaze out at the emerald-green waters and keep your eyes peeled for dolphins as they frolic about near the shore. There are also restaurants, a spa, and numerous shops at the nearby SanRoc Cay, called a destination for fun for its boutique shopping, fine dining, courtyard events and access to deep sea fishing excursions. Staying at this condo, we just know you'll love the view, your comfortable accommodations, and the proximity to restaurants and shops.

Would not stay again...
We have been coming for years to OB and GS...always gulf front on beach with balconey. This particular unit only faces the area that comes out into the gulf. NOT beach front. You do not hear waves. You hear water slapping into the concrete wall. Pretty view. But only see sunrise from spacious balconey. Which only gets sun in morn as comes up. Rest in shade. On cool days too cold to sit on. No view of wonderful beach. Quite a walk to the beach actually. Ok, I see previous review from August and things were NOT addressed that were mentioned. Spoons consist of 2 long teaspoons for a tall glass. 2 rough edged grapefruit spoons and 2 large Tbl spoons. We went and purchased plastic silverware to use. I have no problem purchasing dw tabs and xtra garbage bags if there a week. But most ill equipped condo we have stayed in. No spatula and no measuring cup. We purchased paper plates n bowls. Refrig is clean but rusty looking exterior. OMG! The living room furniture is so uncomfortable. Brought up my folding camp chair to sit in. The sofa and ugly brown chair with no padding left, need replaced. Beds are hard, need pads. Great water pressure in showers but guest one is just warm. Unit clean and size good. Obviously working on things? White patches in yellow paint and painting not finished in master bath. Building looks well kept. Need narrow drive marked for Grand Pointe, as we passed entrance a few times. Door lock was really frustrating. Took number of tries to get in. Can do better.

Lovely spot near the water
I loved this space, it was quite a bit larger than I was expecting and it was very close to the water so you could hear the tide very well. It faces directly east so you get a wonderful view of the sunrise if you're an early-morning type of person.

Summer 2023 Review
My family stayed at Grand Pointe 206 during the Summer 2023. I wouldn't recommend staying at another Vacasa owned property. CONS - Not enough silverware, glassware, plates, etc.. to accommodate the amount of guests without having to use dishwasher every other day. - Only enough dishwasher detergent provided to run the dishwasher twice. - Not enough trash bags provided for large family for the amount of time staying at the property. - No hand soap - Received tow away warning on vehicle at the property but there was no communication received that we had to have a parking pass that was hidden in the corner of the condo. - Text messages containing property info/check-in did not contain all the necessary information on how to access the condo. Had to call Vacasa numerous days as we were locked out of the property. Worst case was arriving at the unit after going out for dinner and unable to get into the condo. Vacasa then had to contact the property management to try and get us access to the condo. However, property management didn't get back to us until 14 HOURS LATER!!!! Thankfully kept messing with the door and finally got it opened otherwise I would have had to take my family to a hotel to stay the night. PROS - Location was nice and lots of activities in the surrounding areas. - Property was at the end of the beach which allowed us to have more of a private area of the beach. - Text messages for instructions of property info was nice as it allowed me to pull up directions

Beautiful View
We just spent 4 amazing days in Orange Beach! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend staying at this condo. We loved the view from the 2nd story balcony! It was beautiful anytime of the morning, day, or evening overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The balcony and view made our trip! We sat out there and drank coffee and soaked in the beauty! The condo was at a good location for Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. We even drove into Pensecola for a day. It wasn’t too far away. We didn’t have any trouble with the lock code like we’ve seen on several other reviews. We basically had everything we needed at the condo. We were happy to have a washer and dryer and used them several times. The starter pack was enough for us of everything except for toilet paper. The kitchen was well furnished. There is also both an indoor and an outdoor pool and hot tub and a sauna and steam room. All of which were nice additions. It’s a very easy walk on a boardwalk to the beach which was nice to not even have to drive. Thanks for the comfortable stay at a wonderful condo! We hope to return!
