The cottage suited us well for a visit to our family in this peaceful and idyllic rural area of France.The home is surprisingly spacious and will comfortably accommodate four people. It is extremely well furnished and equipped with everything one could possibly need for a long or short break, including good WiFi! A large parking area is provided adjacent to the garden and it is also possible to park close to the house entrance door. In our opinion, the cottage represents good value for money.Due to the rural location, car is necessary for travel. For example, to markets, shops, restaurants and popular visitor destinations. On this visit we spent time exploring historic local villages including scenic Vouvant and Mervant with its outstanding views and an excellent spacious zoo but in the past we have made day trips to the local Faymoreaux mining museum, the Marais Poitevin, the Ile de Re, La Rochelle, Coulon and several other Vendeen destinations whilst staying nearby.

Cottage très agréable. Beaucoup de soins pris pour rendre le séjour accueillant et pour que les "guests" se sentent bienvenus.Une propreté exceptionnelle dans un décor "cosy" à l'anglo-saxonne... Un vrai plaisir.Je recommande vivement

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour.Hôte très agréable, à l'écoute et aux petits soins avec ses locataires.Belle maison très bien équipée dans un secteur très calme.Quel bonheur !Nous recommandons cet hébergement et cette belle région !
