Wonderful stay
We stayed for just over a week while helping our daughter get settled for university. The space was perfect and everything beautifully set up. We cooked lots of our meals in and enjoyed all the thoughtful additions in the kitchen. Hosts were wonderful!

First trip to Calgary!
We loved the apartment! We were in town for a wedding and decided to extend the trip. Our adult daughter joined us and we all thought the place was perfect. The little details in the decor made it feel like a home not a hotel suite. We have already passed on the details to friends whose kids live in Calgary so when there for a visit they have their own space.

Modern, comfortable and in a great location
This property is in a really nice location, and has all you need to make you feel at home. We like the decoration and found everything in good condition. It was nice to have all necessary items to cook meals, including ingredients. Aaron was very responsive and help us in every way he could. Thank you again for hosting us.

Great if you are coming to Calgary for work
This was a nice clean place. The place would be great if you are coming to Calgary for work as there is a nice working area and has everything you need. I would not recommend this Verbo if you are coming to Calgary for vacation or to visit people. There is very limited parking on the street. The suite is above a family so you won’t be able to play games or watch movies later into the night with friends as it will be too loud. It is nice that the suite is within walking distance of some Calgary attractions.

Originally from Canada, we have had the fabulous great fortune to live in Australia and Mexico. I moved back to Calgary in 2005 and although we love the connection with friends and family the lure of other countries continues to beckon.

We are relaxed and easy going, love meeting new people and making friends. It is always interesting to converse with people who like to travel and share stories of their adventures.

Why they chose this property

The space
The suite is on the top floor of a detached house. The suite can be accessed via two entrances, one at the back and the other at the front. There are two bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 queen bed) both with large closets, and the office overlooks the back yard. The living space and kitchen are open concept. The bathroom has the original clawfoot tub (refinished) with a shower, toilet, and sink.

What makes this property unique

Guest access
The neighborhood is on the west end of downtown and is quiet, calm, and peaceful. There is easy walkable access to stores, restaurants, pubs, and the like. The light rail transit train (c-train) is a quick four-block walk. There is also easy access to major roads taking you to different parts of the city. Parking is on the street and it is easy to find parking (you do need to provide vehicle details so we can register you to the property).
