This former saddler's shop in the heart of the Perche region has retained its old-world charm while offering modern comforts. Location: Enjoy the countryside close to small, renowned food shops. Located 5 minutes from the motorway exit, 7 minutes from the magnificent 18-hole golf course of Souancé-au-Perche, and 15 minutes from the Nogent-le-Rotrou train station. The accommodation: Main house of 200m2 with its 20m2 outbuilding and its 250m2 garden with garden furniture as well as a pétanque court and a barbecue for the summer period. Ideal for 8 people, 12 beds are possible. Yellow Room: From the West staircase, access an upper floor which includes a 25m² bedroom with wood panelling and storage space. Right next door is its shower room with WC. 160 x 200 cm bed. On the same floor, facing the garden, you will have a small room for rest, reading, or meditation (yoga mat available) as you wish. On the ground floor, a large open-plan living area with lounge, dining room, and kitchen of 45m². A large table for 8 people plus an additional extendable table allows for up to 14 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living room has a large fireplace. This room, like the garden, is popular with artists/dancers/actors, as well as yogis and Pilates practitioners who can envision stays/residencies here. Also on the ground floor, there is a small, more intimate lounge/reading or board game area. This warm and relaxing room features a large library and a fireplace with a view of the garden. A small office space is also available on the ground floor in the garden-side entrance. Nous avons réservé ce gîte pour un week-end familial (2 nuits-3 jours) fin octobre.La maison est spacieuse et pleine de charme. Le linge de toilette et de literie étaient fournis. C'est très pratique lorsqu'on voyage avec de jeunes enfants.Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le déplacement du propriétaire pour venir résoudre le problème du chauffage qui ne fonctionnait pas du tout. Je mettrai un petit bémole sur la propreté, l'équipement sanitaire (dysfonctionnement de temps en tempsd'une chasse d'eau) et la proximité de la rue principale assez passagère.D'un point de vue global, nous avons passé un bon week-end ! Merci.
