Great location in Cognac city centre.

Atypical is a great description of the apartment. Really unique and spacious for the two of us. Modern or contemporary design and had everything we needed during our stay. Everything was clean and seemed to be brand new and had what we needed. Communication was great prior to check in and also during our stay. The one issue we had was addressed by Emelie in short order and the timeliness and resolution was appreciated. Walking distance to most of the sites in Cognac, restaurants and cafes in the central district. Definitely a place we would return as both the apartment and hosts were great.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
To be fair we can’t comment on the cleanliness or comfort as unfortunately we weren’t able to get in to the property; the key safe code was incorrect, the host wasn’t answering her phone and the care line operator just kept telling us we were on the wrong floor (we weren’t). Our flight was delayed so it was late when we arrived and by the time VRBO had agreed to refund our money and pay the difference to stay in a hotel, food service had finished. I was also offered a voucher for our ‘next time’ by way of compensation, but subsequently sent a ‘good will’ payment which paid for breakfast. Not a good experience.
