In the heart of the prestigious Grande Champagne vineyards, this former distillery building has been transformed into a charming 1-bedroom gîte – the perfect countryside retreat for a couple.
Located just 10 minutes from Cognac, it’s a peaceful and authentic base to discover the Charente together.

A historic estate
L’Ancienne Distillerie is made up of 4 gîtes, once the buildings of a traditional Cognac distillery. Each one is independent and not overlooked, offering the perfect balance of privacy and conviviality.

Direct pool access
Gîte Otard is located within the secure swimming pool courtyard and has direct access to this space. For this reason, it is not suitable for children.

Comfort and authenticity
Inside, you’ll enjoy an open-plan living space with lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The gîte features 1 spacious double bedroom with a Super King size bed (180 cm) and a private ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet.
French doors open onto your private terrace (and the garden beyond) with barbecue and garden furniture – perfect for sunny breakfasts, long lunches or romantic evening meals!

Leisure and relaxation
During your stay, relax by the secure 13m x 6m pool, stroll through the landscaped gardens or enjoy the games room with table tennis, table football and a pool table. Couples can also explore the surrounding vineyards, visit Cognac houses and enjoy walks or bike rides through the Charentaise countryside.
