Perfect short get away

I planned a last minute getaway and mainly chose this house for the fenced in yard and for the fact it was pet friendly. Yard was perfect for my two golden doodles- they had the time of their lives as they are used to being on a line outside. House was charming and plenty of beds for all. Window air conditioners kept the house cool. King bed was in a room with bunk beds so we had to share a room with our teen boys but not a big deal (we let our single friend have her privacy in the queen bedroom). Not sure the dishwasher was working- ran it but ended up having to hand wash dishes. Again, not a big deal. Very happy with the property.

Great location, but…

PERFECT location but honestly, not clean. We had to wash the dishes in the cabinets. They had grease and food on them. Our sheets and shower had hair on them. The sleeping situation was a little awkward as the loft was not private to the occupants below. Otherwise, great neighborhood and we enjoyed hanging out on the front porch.

Met all our needs

My husband, brother, friends, and I really enjoyed our stay here overall. PROS: The check in process was very easy and the house was very clean. There were plenty of towels and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with the necessities to cook and clean with. The host was very quick to respond to us with any questions that came up throughout the weekend. CONS:. There is no central air, which was not clear to us in the listing as the window units were not shown in any of the pictures. (If it was included in the listing I missed it.) However, as long as they stayed running, the house was cool enough. Kitchen clean up was a little difficult becuase some the the pans were old and worn and therefore everything stuck to them which made them very difficult to clean. The upstairs shower leaked pretty badly, so we couldn't use it because it flooded the bathroom. The house definitely had it's fair share of things that seemed to have not been maintained or tended to, but most of them did not affect our comfort or take much away from our experience during our stay. Overall, it's a good deal for the price. There are lots of beds so it can accommodate a large amount of people, which is often times hard to find at that price point. And Vanessa (the host) was delightful to work with.

Overall review…

House was overall great for what we needed! Lots of extra space for blow up mattresses! Kitchen is reasonably stocked with different cooking utensils & pots and pans! Only trouble was that none of the outlets in the kitchen worked, made it a little difficult to cook. Host was great to work with!
