Stylish and Efficient

My stay was comfortable and quiet. The space is clean and beautifully decorated with many thoughtful amenities. The host was quick to respond. The neighborhood is safe and walkable. The price was reasonable and I would happily book again.

Capitol Hill duplex

Was not aware that the duplex attached to us had a 3rd floor above our den and bedrooms. Noise at all hours of the day and night kept waking us up. Lots of people in and out next door

Great Family-Friendly property! We had a Pre-Teen and a toddler who each needed their own room, and they had a great time. It was very nicely furnished and decorated, and in a great location to walk /lime scooter to the nearby cafe and bakeries to grab breakfast every morning.I definitely would stay again during my next visit to Seattle.Yes, the stairs leading down to two bedrooms are a bit steep, but there is a built-in baby gate to keep young ones safe. The room with the Toddler bed even has a smart speaker that can play White noise. There was also a variety of board games, lots of chargers all around the house for devices (just need to supply your own USB cables), a TV loaded with streaming services and live TV.Communication with the host was a bit delayed during the stay, but we didn't have any issues that we needed anything handled in a time-sensitive manner.

Condition is not great. Multiple maintenance needs, quirks, and signs of relative neglect (lightbulbs out, bent window fixtures, older hardware, etc.). Unit is on lower and first floors and there is a unit above from which you can hear every footstep. Communication with the host was a consistent challenge, from needing to reach out to get check in information less than 24 hours before arrival, to needing to proactively chase the host to address plumbing issues while we were there, to a checkout message devoid of any instructions. Some of the basics were just fine here, but we paid a premium price for this property and it was not worth the expense, unfortunately.
