Comfy and Convenient Home Minutes from Beach National Park

Casa Bella Luna’s convenient location means no 4x4 necessary and all the best features of Uvita, Costa Rica are minutes away. Walking distance to beach (~10min) restaurants (~2-5min), and mini marts (~5min). Ballena National Park and the world famous whale’s tail reef formation is minutes away (also home to actual whales migrating!). There is a large variety of coastline in the area for a range of activities and preferences. World class surf, shopping, various quality and diverse restaurants and natural destinations can be found in this special area.

All Bedrooms and indoor living spaces have individual A/C units and Fiber Optic Internet. The master bedroom has a large bathroom and closet and opens up with sliding glass doors to the pool area. The upstairs suite has two full beds and a covered outdoor patio overlooking the backyard.

The home has a private pool and backyard with a covered grilling area and three towering trees. There is plenty of space to enjoy with others, or to relax and have your privacy in any weather. You will see birds and butterflies, and plenty of other wildlife on occasion. The howler monkeys you’ll hear before you see them!

Just about any tour, excursion, or activity offered in Costa Rica is within 30 minutes of the villa. This includes ziplining, surfing, scuba/snorkel, canyoning, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, waterfalls, catamaran, atv tours, whale and dolphin tours, paragliding, national parks and nature hikes, cacao and coffee tours, and even more!
We offer a free concierge service to help you book everything from rental cars and shuttles, to in-home massage and private chef (and of course all of the activities mentioned)!

My girlfriend and I have been to Costa Rica before and this house is exactly what we're looking for. Quick walk to the beach, super market, and restaurant. We stayed here for a week and the location and pool were awesome. I would stay here again when visiting Uvita.

Nice house in great location

The house was lovely, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. Short walk to Playa Colonial sector or Marino Ballena and also to a very good Mexican restaurant. We enjoyed coming back to the pool after hikes. Great communication from the hosts. I’d stay here again.

The house was great for our needs and in an excellent location! The managers were attentive with some minor issues, which was greatly appreciated! We found so many different insects, animals, and plants right on the property. It was awesome!

Great house in great Uvita location

Landon and Forest, the two owners, were friendly, easy going and incredibly helpful for local tips. The house was clean, spacious and on a quiet and safe street. Air conditioning and fans were great, as was the pool. The house is a 5 minute walk down a cozy dirt road to the beach. The beach is part of a national park and is absolutely gorgeous with perfect breaks for swimming or beginner surfers. You can walk to whales tail and all parts of the National park from the house. There’s a neighborhood market 2 minutes walk and a phenomenal Mexican restaurant 2 minutes walk. Just do it!

Une maison de rêve

La maison est magnifiquement bien décorée,, propre et neuve. Les lits confortables. Le jardin est bien entretenue. Nous avons adoré les trois immenses arbres dans la cour et le citronnier chargé de juteux citrons…wow! La piscine est formidable après les randonnées. Comme activité, nous avons fait des randonnées au parc national Ballena, c’est sauvage mais agréable. La mer est agitée. Nous avons été aux chutes Nauyaca. Randonnée et baignade. Quelles merveilles! À ne pas rater! Nous avons visité le village Dominical. Très petit et très touristique. Un peu décevant, rien de typique. Nous vous suggérons 3 restaurants qu’on a aimé leurs repas: Fernando ( près du parc), La Colonia et Mexicano (à 2 minutes à pied de la maison). Nous n’avons pas louer d’auto. Le parc et la plage sont à dix minutes de marche. Le supermarché à 5 minutes. Pour notre déplacement, nous prenons le taxi. Demandez d’abord les prix. C’est 600 colónes le km. À deux ça peut coûter cher mais à 4 ou 6 c’est mieux. Si vous voulez bouger beaucoup, louez une voiture. Si vous désirez des vacances tranquilles avec peu d’activités, c’est l’endroit idéal!
