The climatic health resort of Bad Sachsa is located in the southern Harz in the south of Lower Saxony. From here it is only a few kilometers to Braunlage Clausthal-Zellerfeld. Enjoy a relaxing holiday and explore the Harz. From the Hausberg Bad Sachsas, the Ravens Mountains, 659 meters above n. N., you have a view in the southern Harz and Brocken. In the ten designated Terrainkurwegen that begin on Vital Park and end, health-promoting, healing climatic walking and hiking. Visit also the Salztal paradise with adventure pool, sauna area, indoor playground, bowling alley and skating rink as well as the Ravensberg Basecamp, a climbing arena with exceptionally designed climbing elements. In winter you can explore the southern Harz on the many cross-country ski trails.   Tettenborn is about 5 km from Bad Sachsa and a few hundred meters from the former inner-German border. From here you can hike the Harz border, which lies along the Green Belt. The apartment Kratzin is about 2 km from Bad Sachsa in the district Tettenborn colony in a quiet location near the forest.
