Large home 100 years old fully rehabbed. 3 bed/2.5 baths + office, open kitchen. Bright & spacious. It has a lovely covered front porch to enjoy fresh air. Garage for 2 cars plus a long driveway for boats /trucks. game-room in our finished basement. Billiard and mini foosball tables.
Located in a lovely family oriented community in Eastpointe. Quiet and safe
Close to loads of shopping areas, houses of worship and 15 min from downtown Detroit. Walmart, Meijer, Aldi and Kroger a few mins away.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was as described and met our expectations. There are spots where it could use some updating or new paint but overall it met our needs. It was also in a quiet neighborhood and close to all the events in Detroit we attended.

Not bad, but not great

The table and floors were sticky on checkin, but otherwise it was clean. The bedroom doors don't latch, and the bathrooms don't lock, but the house was nice. The neighborhood, however left something to be desired.

Easy access to East Side Detroit and Grosse Pointe

Abundant space for family to relax while visiting relatives nearby. Beds were comfy, more than adequate bathrooms, safe neighborhood and parking. Front porch was a plus during this beautiful week to watch sunrise and sunset at either end of the street.

A jewel in the neighborhood

The owners did a great job fixing up this older house. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and tidy. Sitting outside on the patio was a lovely way to spend the afternoon. I'd definitely recommend the property and use again in the future.

We had a family wedding at the War Memorial. This house was close enough to get us to and from without any problems. House is spacious enough for us all. It even had a pool table!

Wonderful Stay

We were in town for death in family and funeral. The house was an older house in a quiet neighborhood. It was clean and had everything for extended stay. The weather was very hot (above 95 during the day) and bedrooms upstairs was warmer than downstairs but a fan in hallway move the cool air around.

This home is totally remolded very neat clean wonderful front porch. Backed bass boat to the front of garage totally safe off the street. Ramp is couple miles straight down 9 mile great location.

12 minutes from 9 mile boat ramp. Room for 3 bass boats and 3 full size trucks. access to the garage made storing boat cover and extra fishing gear super convenient.

Overall, the property was quite lovely. The updates to the spaces were done well. Three bedrooms worked out well for our group. Our almost 3 year old granddaughter loved the trundle bed. Nice to have a full bath and a 1/2 bath on the second floor as well as a full bath on the main floor. No bathtub for little ones but we managed for the two days they were with us. The front porch was really a lovely space to sit with friends and to read a book. Leandro, the owner was very responsive and helped out with the internet issues we encountered. I would give it 5 stars but felt that the cleaning of the floors needed to be more thorough. We noticed this because we had a 9 month old crawling around. We would definitely stay again. Spacious main floor and unexpectedly a pool table and Foosball table in the basement made for great fun.

Father's Day Trip

Home was lovely and the pictures are a true representation of the property. Home was spacious and there was plenty of cookware and kitchen utensils. There is only one complaint that I have with the property, we had no internet service the entire stay. The internet worked on Sunday for about 3 hrs and then again the next Saturday for about 3 hrs. We were there for an entire week and could not watch any television as you need internet to use the apps. It is a Roku TV. Me and mom love to watch morning news while we have coffee and was unable to do so the entire week. So if you need internet for work you better have a hotspot you can use because it doesn't work. But if internet is not a concern for you then the prperty will be to your liking. It was well stocked with plenty of towels and all necessities. Nice finished basement with a pool table is a bonus.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at this property. I traveled with my wife and four kids for 10 days at this property. The home squeaks anytime someone takes a step, if anyone wakes up at night it wakes up everyone else because of how loud the floors squeak, it’s a 100 year old house, I don’t believe it should be on VRBO. The house was not clean on arrival, contacted management and they sent someone out the next day to clean, but still bathrooms had hair in sink, light switches where sticky.Non of the bathroom doors had locks on them, so be ready for that, anyone can open the bathroom door while it’s in use.Again management and owner were responsive, but house is not in a ready rental condition.Basement is in its 100 year old original condition where the laundry room is, wife refused to go down by herself as it was aerie to say the least.A fight broke out in the house across the street while we where there for 10 day with my kids, I had to close the blinds to make sure we stay safe.A few days into our stay I seriously contemplated leaving the VRBO and checking into a nearby hotel. We could not wait to leave.

The house is just perfect. Spacious, bright, comfy and supe cozy. Located in a very quiet residential area that will give you the peace of mind and the calm but very close to the busy shopping area.
All supermarkets are very close, 20 min from downtown Detroit.
