The Lester Parker property, the neoclassical revival home built in 1905, is on the National Register of Historic Places and sits on the corner of historic Capitol Avenue and Lafayette Street. Diagonally across the intersection is the old Missouri State Penitentiary and directly across Lafayette Street is the Missouri State Penitentiary Museum and Penitentiary Tour Ticket Office.

Centrally located, Parker’s Place is the best place to stay to discover Jefferson City and all it has to offer! Recently renovated with new furnishings throughout, this beautiful home overlooks the oldest state prison west of the Mississippi River and much of Missouri’s capitol city. The master bedroom holds a king size bed, desk and smartTV. The sitting room includes a queen sofa sleeper.
