About this property

One-off-the-kind gorgeous Rustic Cabin on 5 acres with a beautiful endless view of High Sierras w/ total privacy on the mountains. Comes w/pellet & charcoal BBQ grill, 2 indoor fireplaces, outdoor fire pit & a wood stove. Whether you're looking to Ski at Kirkwood Mountain Resort, Golf, Boating, Dip in water, Kayaking, Hike a nearby trailhead, or recharge in the great outdoors, this will serve as the perfect home base. This is a smart home to control lights/AC/heater with your voice command

Full disclosure:
1. Our house is right in between the woods(next to CA-88 but the backyard takes to the wilderness). You might see wildlife (Deer, Rabbits, wild birds, etc.) wandering our property from time to time, mostly during night or sometimes day.
3. From time to time some of the bed sheets/duvets/towels/rugs/furniture/etc. might be replaced due to normal wear and tear and sometimes they might not always match the pictures in the listing. For example, if the rug gets too dirty we might remove it as it can't replaced or cleaned before the next guest check-in or might replace it with a different colored one that's available.
4. We don't provide wash towels but we provide bath and hand towels.
5. During winter it snows heavily on our property. We don't provide snow removal service from the private road to the house's the main door/back door, however, we do provide snow shovels. That said snow gets plowed on our private road(holiday ln)

Must come back place

We stayed at Shwetha's place for New Years and we absolutely loved it. The place has a beautiful views anywhere you look. Everything you'd need in the kitchen including iron pans, it's there. The house is super warm (which is important in winter time) and cozy. We had plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 children. There's plenty of space for parking. The house is located in a very quiet area and at night all the lights go out. We are definitely coming back. Thank you for having us!! Boris

Spacious cabin in beautiful forest setting

My group stayed here with the intention of riding Kirkwood. The commute from SF avoids much of the weekend traffic and the cabin is only about an hour away from the resort. The setting is private and serene, with a large deck overlooking a beautiful forest. The cabin itself is very spacious, and the 3 bathrooms make the space comfortable for bigger groups. Definitely one of my favorite Vrbo stays thus far.

Fantastic Cabin!

This was the perfect place for our getaway weekend. Cabin location is great and accessible from the highway. We had our own little winter wonderland here and couldn’t ask for more!

New Years Eve get away

The house was very spacious, beautiful view from back patio. Nice quiet neighborhood. Well organized kitchen. Comfortable beds. Close to grocery store, gas station. We enjoyed our New Year's Eve with daughters, sons and grandbabies. We'd love to go back during the summertime.
