Cute place on a large and quiet lot with a comfortable deck. Well appointed kitchen, with some nice perks (bottled water in fridge; box of ice cream treats in freezer; coffee provided). Very close access for boating if that is something you are planning. We met family halfway and we were happy to just enjoy each other’s company. Access to most things you would need in Mr. Vernon, about 10 miles but there is very little to do close by. The one downside, was that the living room furniture was not at all comfortable. Overall, a nice place!

Girls getaway

My friends and I were in the area for a get together and for a school reunion. We loved this rental, can’t say enough good about it. The host was the most helpful I’ve ever had through VRBO. We would certainly consider staying here again!

Perfect Golf/Fishing Trip

My friends and I enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was as advertised and more. If you're looking for a nice place with plenty of room and privacy this is it. The modern appliances were a big plus including the washer and dryer. We do this once a year and hope to rent the same property next year.

Quiet little Happy Place

Our family of 3 journeyed from Georgia to spend Thanksgiving in a place we could unplug and refresh. Hunt & Gather Lodge was everything we were looking for, and more! The house was clean, cozy and well kept. The kitchen was well stocked with the equipment/utensils we needed to cook a wonderful Thanksgiving meal. We loved exploring the property as well, such a cool place! We will definitely be back! Thanks Renee!
