The cottage is surrounded by a hectare of land embellished with umbrella pines, Florence cypresses, mimosas, fig trees and rose bushes, offering a bucolic setting perfect for naps under the olive tree, lulled by the song of the cicadas and the bewitching scents of thyme and rosemary.<br>For the cool winter nights, a wood stove warms the heart of the house, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The green shutters in louvered windows protect the cottage, facing south and air-conditioned for your comfort throughout the year.<br>In 2025, a total renovation of the cottage in the colours of the South awaits you, combining modernity and tradition. You will also be welcomed by our two very nice dogs Jack and Gypsy, who love company!<br>Every Friday morning you can enjoy one of the most beautiful markets in Provence which extends throughout the city centre. Our beautiful town of Carpentras is 24KM from Avignon and its festival, 24km from Orange and its Ancient Theatre, 29km from Vaison-la-Romaine and its Roman remains. For fans of the little queen if you arrive in the right period you can enjoy the Tour de France which passes through our beautiful villages and our wonderful Ventoux. You can plan a getaway on the wine route and cross dozens of wine villages such as Vacqueyras, Gigondas, Cairane, Beaumes de Venise, Le Barroux, Malaucène... etc. Walkers or cyclists will enjoy the marked trails of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Another must-see site is the Fontaine de Vaucluse with its spring and the home of the Italian humanist poet Petrarch who fell in love with this enchanted place and composed his poems for his beautiful Lavra.<br>At the exit of Monteux in the direction of Avignon, you can take young and old to Wave Island and Spirou Park.
