The condo is high quality construction, the views of the mountains in the distance are great. It was well stocked with everything you need to cook. The host was responsive to our questions.

Access to remove the cover is a bit odd.
Hot tub view, at night it feels more private, you are also elevated so people can't see in from below.

We stayed toward the end of the summer of 2025. The property is well appointed with exceptional views of the west side of the divide. Walkable to trailheads for excellent hiking and mountain biking and very close to the amenities of the town of Winter Park that you can walk if you choose. Great stay!

This property was clean, and very well stocked! The hot tub was clean and actually hot unlike a lot of vrbo’s we have stayed at. The host was great to communicate with. We would definitely stay again!

Spring Break Ski Trip

Great property for 9 of us 3 adults and 6 kids to serve as home base for a long ski weekend. The house was perfect, very clean and well stocked. Convenient location to town and east shuttle to the slopes. Hot tub was great and house fit us all perfectly. Hosts were great with communication. If we find ourselves back at Winter Park we'll stay here again.

Wonderful summer getaway

Everything was just great and the whole group loved the house. Well stocked with everything you could need, nice neighborhood fun to walk around, lots of wildlife (fox, marmot, hummingbirds, did even see a black bear so make use of those bear proof dumpsters!), close 5-10 min drive to winter park resort. Easy check in, great host. All around well worth it. Thanks!

Thank you for sharing your home with us. The house was lovely! We appreciated the welcome treat, which was a nice surprise that we all enjoyed. Lots of sleeping space. Kitchen very well stocked for cooking. Very nice decor and feel of the home. We had not issues at all. We would highly recommend!

Didn’t want to leave!

We had an amazing time at the Bear Crossing Cabin! The view of the mountains, the walking trails, wildlife, and proximity to Winter Park and its many resorts were exactly what we looking for to get out of the Texas summer. Our planned accommodations for the week we stayed fell through at the 11th hour, and Genevieve saved our bacon. I can't express how appreciative I am for being able to stay at a wonderful home with my family. As we packed and cleaned at the end of our stay, my wife turned to me and said, "I don't want to leave!" We would highly recommend the Bear Crossing Cabin to anyone (especially families) and look forward to go back on our next visit to the Colorado mountains.

You will love this property!

Our family spent the weekend in WP. I was so pleased with the communication between the owner and myself all the way through from booking to staying this weekend. The condo is so nice, with fabulous views of the mountains. Out grandsons had a ball in the spa and also tubing and skiing off your lower deck. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need for meals. The only thought I have is that this condo says it has room for 10, but the dining room table has only 6 chairs. Fortunately there were only 9 of us so with the 3 bar stools we had room for everyone. The condo is in a lovely area about 20 mins from the entrance to Winter Park ski area. Thank you Genevieve for sharing such a lovely place for your guests. Everything was perfect!

Perfect “belated” holiday gathering

Stayed here with my family while visiting my daughter who works at the Winter Park resort. We had a belated holiday celebration and it was our first white Christmas ever! Booking went smoothly and the owner was very responsive and timely with all communication. She graciously left up the Christmas decorations for us and allowed us to check in early on our arrival. From the minute we walked through the door, I knew I had made the right choice. We were greeted with spectacular views and a welcoming home environment that was stocked with everything we needed. I loved the small added touches like the cotton balls/Qtips provided in the bathrooms and the jewelry holder in the master bathroom. We truly had a magical time. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.

Fantastic!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family ski weekend at Winter Park. The condo was awesome, very clean, and well kept with plenty of amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long ski day. The walk to the bus stop was about 5 min. We even walked down to Cooper Creek a couple of times because it was so beautiful-it was only 20 min and mostly down hill(that was a bonus!). We did not rent a car while out there, we relied on the bussing/train systems and it worked! I would not have wanted to drive in some of the weather that they were getting and for our size group(10 adults) we would’ve needed two vehicles. We ate at a couple of restaurants at Cooper Creek square a few times and ordered from Dominoes because they deliver:) The hosts were excellent to work with and answered many of my questions before coming out. We are already planning our next trip out! Thank you, again, for sharing your beautiful place with us!

We spent five wonderful days at this condo. It is lovely in every way. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the dishes you could need plus some basics like spices, tea, coffee, and dish detergent. The furnishings are very nice. The linens are high end with several toiletries provided. We drove, so I had packed quite a few basics, but I so appreciate not having to run to the store immediately especially if flying to a location. The view is totally amazing. We will be back to this condo even though it is actually larger than my husband and I need for just the two of us. We could not have been more pleased. Genevieve is easy to work with. She was always prompt with responses to questions both during the booking as well as after we arrived. People with handicaps should note there are lots of stairs in this unit, including a couple of stairs from the entry area to the living and kitchen area, and all bedrooms are either up or down. If you don't have issues with stairs, it is wonderful.

Modern, Clean and Family Friendly

We stayed for a long weekend over the summer. Great setup for a family. Downstairs has living area with two rooms (4 bunks in one room) and shared bathroom plus hot tub access from non-bunk room. Upstairs master is nicely separated and quiet. Main level entry, living area and kitchen is excellent shared family space. Beautiful views, great amenities and clean. We would highly recommend this home.

Amazing Condo!

Everything about our stay was wonderful! Genevieve was extremely responsive and very helpful. The condo itself was even better than presented. Our family of 7, which included a toddler, had plenty of room and everything we needed for our family ski trip. Perfectly centered for a quick trip to town for groceries or eating out and a short drive to the lifts. If we return to Winter Park in the future, we will definitely want to stay here again!

The modern kitchen with granite counter-tops. Fully-equipped with everything you need, including food staples, blender, coffeemaker, toaster, crockpot.

Lower level has a second family room with comfy couch, Roku TV with access to Amazon Prime video, Netflix, and more. Perfect for little ones to play. Laundry room is large with high capacity washer & dryer.
