Communication was very easy - We needed to extend our stay on the front end and our host responded promptly with everything we needed. On our arrival day they reached out to let us know the house would be available for check-in sooner than we anticipated.Everything was clean and in good working order. We loved our stay, loved the town and would go back in the future.

Beautiful home, perched on the mountain side. Cozy interior with large rooms. Great basecamp for mountain biking Ramapo/Ringwood forests. Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for the hospitality!

Beautiful house! Our stay was wonderful, even with some rainy weather. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The house is a short walk to the Town of Greenwood, which is a cute town, and 2 miles from Bellvale Creamery - great ice cream! Also enjoyed visiting Warwick, which is close by. The house had a small beach area with paddle boards etc. - lots of fun. And nice bonus: when we lost power after a summer storm, the generator kicked in and worked great. Definitely recommend!

The house is beautiful and airy. It contained everything and more that we needed for the weekend. The view of the lake from the living room is stunning. Dan, the host, was helpful and responded to our texts quickly. We would definitely stay there again!

It's a beautiful house and very spacious. Pristine condition.Lots of lake toys which the kids took full advantage of.Owners were very accommodating and responsive, made us feel welcome. Had a great week with family and friends.

This is a fantastic property with a private beach on the lake. The house is perfect. One family lived downstairs while two of us lived upstairs. It’s very quiet and exceptionally clean. There are good local restaurants with a short drive to Warwick for a grocery store. We would definitely recommend this house.

The house is very spacious and privately located on top of a steep hill overlooking the lake. The lake view is pretty, and we enjoyed the windows letting in a lot of natural light in the living room. When we first arrived, the house smelled musty and stale like there had not been guests in a while. During our stay, we found numerous spiders, ants, and bugs crawling in several rooms. The host was quick to respond when we reached out with a question.

Lovely House

Great house for family. Grandparents stayed in master bedroom on first floor. Two adults and grandchildren stayed in 2 bedrooms in basement. Wonderful living area on main floor with large windows highlighting views of lake. Great kitchen. A little skimpy on utensils. Owners were great.

Beautiful space.

Stayed with family for my 60th bday. The Valentine's are wonderful hosts. The home itself is pristine. They left me lovely flowers a card and bottle of wine from a local winery. Very well stocked kitchen, and wood burning fireplace. Pool table and bar, rec room area. Master bedroom and bathroom are amazing. Plenty of local wineries and eateries. Soup to nuts great experience.

Good time had by all!

Lots of space, indoors & out.Very clean & tidy. Kitchen well stocked & organized.Outdoor grill worked fine. Great location. Well off the road, lake views & walking distance to lovely local shops & churches.We had great weather so did not have use for the cool “rec room/bar” downstairs.Would definitely like to return with my kayak & SUP as access to the lake is out front.It was a terrific family wedding celebration/Easter weekend.Thank you Dan.

Lovely home with huge main floor master bedroom & bath. Spacious & private with a large patio & fire pit. Well appointed kitchen and ultra modern washer/dryer. The two downstairs bedrooms are spacious and abut a "rec room" with large couch on one side & pool table on the other. Two car garage contains an EV charger. Lots of board games and toys for rainy days. Small private beach offers 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards & a hammock and is situated on a great part of the lake. The house was immaculate and our host was ultra responsive. Our 5 night stay was incredibly comfortable. Do be prepared for a short but steep walk to the beach as well as a lot of political statement flags on the lake. A short way to town (walkable) with decent restaurants, espresso, gas stations. It's a 5 star property with a 5 star host.

This vacation home was perfect, honestly better than I had even expected. The home is clean, spacious, perfectly climated controlled, well-appointed and very comfortable even for a large party. The location is gorgeous and the private beach is really the icing on the cake. My family really enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. I was even able to rent a pontoon boat and dock it there overnight. Everyone wants to go back next year!

Absolutely fabulous!!!

We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous home. Very thoughtful amenities, tons of room and spectacular views. Very comfortable beds and couches! Just note that the entrance to the driveway is on the main Rd (Sterling Rd) not Brier Hill Rd.

Great little town, house

Stayed here with some family for a nearby wedding. House was clean, had everything you would expect. It’s a real cute town (we went in October and the weather and colors were unbelievable) with some fun local taverns and restaurants.

Perfect for our Legoland birthday trip!

We rented this property for our son's birthday weekend and a trip to Legoland. It was perfect for us. There was so much space, the view was beautiful, the owner was easy to get in touch with and it was only a 20 minute drive to Legoland. Great house for groups and for families. Thanks!

Little Getaway

The house was beautiful and very clean! We came to Greenwood Lake for a quick vacation with my family. The kids and adults had a great time. The view of the lake was beautiful. We loved the Emerald Point restaurant right down the road.

Wonderful

If you are looking for comfort, and home away from home this is the perfect place. Host family is great. We have cadets at Westpoint and this was perfect for our family and allowed us the ability to provide a relaxing environment close to post. Looking forward to returning. Kitchen fully equipped, pictures are accurate.

Fantastic Property Management

We had a very nice 2-night stay. Our trip was a low-key bachelor/bachelorette combined weekend. We were so impressed with the property owners! The refrigerator stopped working unexpectedly (it was new, clean and well taken care of), and one of the owners replied to me within minutes and was there within 20 minutes to check out the fridge. When all else failed, a brand new one was personally installed the next morning!! We were very happy to say the least, as that avoided a potential major glitch in our weekend. The house was very clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this property and the owners for any type of stay.
