Hello&welcome to Villa Adriana!

Immersed amongst the trees and surrounding garden, perched on a slope overlooking Highland Lake, Villa Adriana is considered to have one of the best views of the entire lake.
You can enjoy the spectacular view from the comfort of a cozy living room with large windows overlooking the lake, and from the adjacent roomy outdoor deck equipped with table, chairs, umbrella, and a BBQ grill for dining al fresco.
One of the first things you ll notice, besides the spectacular view, is the silence that surrounds the whole property...

The house has two levels:
On the upper floor is a large living/dining area with high cathedral ceilings and fully functioning fire place from which you can access the deck; a large dining table that seats up to 10 adults; fully equipped kitchen; three queen bedrooms; fully renovated bathroom with standard size tub.
On the lower floor is the the master suite with a fireplace, queen bed and queen-sized sofa bed, and outdoor access through french doors overlooking the lake; a newly renovated bathroom with full-size stand-up shower and heated floors; laundry room equipped
with washer&dryer.

During the summer season you will have full access to all the kayaks and the SUP situated on the private dock with direct lake-front access. It s the perfect spot for sun bathing on one of the lounge chairs, simply relaxing in the hammock,or going for a swim.
Only electric motor boat use is permitted on the lake to avoid excess noise and contaminating the waters.

Villa Adrian a ideal location offers tons of things to do all year round! During the winter, you can enjoy the ski slopes at the famous nearby resort Mountain Creek which in summertime becomes a sprawling amusement park! You can fish, swim, hike, or simply just relax and take in the view on the memory foam sofa. Every bedroom also has a brand new memory foam mattress to ensure your utmost comfort.
The house is acessable from the parking space by going down a flight of steps.

The house is equipped with wifi&smart tv for streaming. Bed linens and towels are available for use.

We had a great time at this gorgeous location! The view from the deck is beautiful & the lodging was very comfortable. The only odd thing was that there were no flat sheets on the beds, only comforters - which struck us as a little gross. But other than that (and perhaps that's a preferential thing), this stay was great!

Pros: incredible view, four bedrooms, two full baths, great deck off of kitchen. Cons: the house is right on a busy and very noisy road(this was a major disappointment), master bedroom is musty and damp, dock is rickety, stairs from parking area a little sketchy. This property was probably amazing 20 years ago, but now needs a complete overhaul, if they want to charge 450 per night.

Beautiful property off the beaten path

This cabin was a perfect stay to get away from it all for a while. Amenities were close enough that they were easy to get to, but we were still out in nature without much noise or light pollution. The lake was a beautiful sight to see every morning. Overall, a great spot to take a trip.

Fantastic place to stay!

Great location if you’re skiing at Mountain Creek, it’s only 12 minutes down the road! The house is wonderful and the view is incredible. Everything you need is provided and Michele was wonderful with reaching out to make sure we had a great stay. Highly recommend for a winter weekend getaway with the family.

Overall quiet and cozy lakefront property. Kitchen was equips with all we needed, but was a tad disorganized in the drawers. Made it a little difficult to find thing. Regardless, we had a wonderful stay and was able to enjoy the beautiful views of the lake.

Enjoyed our stay!

Property manager replied promptly every time I reached out. I prefer to get an access code before the day of the booking as it makes me nervous, but it was provided when asked that morning. Not immaculately clean, but definitely not bad. Grill was clean and backup tank (which we needed) was provided. Beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed getting out and kayaking twice. Would recommend!

Nice Lake House

This lake houae has a beautiful view amd plenty of space. One of the best stocked kitchens I have found in a rental. Plenty of pots with lids, dishes, glasses, a good stove and a very clean gas grill with tools. The beds were OK, but not enough linnens. There were plenty of towels, but no extra blankets or pillows. We had a guest on the pull out couch that slept on a throw pillow with no blanket.

It would have been helpful to be told that there were many steps leading down to the house- lots of luggage and groceries to carry made that difficult to manage. The deck had holes and weak boards-scary because it is high. Wooden deck chairs were quite weathered and the cushions to be used were stained and dirty. The view was great and the kids had a great time.

Beautiful views but have concerns

Review: We rented this house with our grown kids and 3 young grandchildren. The house was clean and nicely decorated inside, as depicted in the photographs online. There was adequate space for everyone and the kitchen was nicely equipped. The views of the lake were stunning and the host was easily contacted. We did enjoy our stay, however we did have some concerns. The railing and floor boards on this approximately 15’ high deck had multiple spongy areas and places with significant rot. One of the kayaks was missing the plug (thankfully we noticed before using). The paddle board was deflated and there was no usable pump. The zero gravity chairs provided were falling apart. The yard was overgrown with thorn bushes intruding on the stairs leading to the lake and fishing rods / old boats discarded in the overgrown brush. As another guest wrote, it would have been nice to know before booking that there were so many stairs to go down to get to the house. Even better to be warned that the path is dimly lit with only one working lamp. The inside was well laid out, however the AC units provided (1 mini split in the living room and 1 portable AC in one of the 3 upstairs bedrooms) were inadequate to cool the space. As described, there was a baby gate, however it did not fasten to the stair or fit the opening, but that didn’t matter because the railing separating the top living area from the split foyer had only 3 parallel railings with approximately 18” spacing between the

Gorgeous view, perfect summer house

We stayed in the house over the Thanksgiving holiday. The setting is peaceful and the beds are comfortable. The home has adequate but uneven heating, it doesn't feel like a truly winterized home. I'd come back in the summer to enjoy the lake and worry less about constantly adjusting the thermostat. Kitchen is on par with other rental houses -- everything functioned OK. There's a mix of old pots and pans and utensils with some items missing like measuring cups. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, come prepared. There were some nice touches for families with young kids like a playmat, booster seat, pack n play and high chair. The house could use some minor updates to make it more accommodating -- like luggage racks in the bedrooms. The interior doors that only stay shut with bolts made things challenging with kids - I recommend the host update the doors for adequate privacy and safety.
