5-bedroom house w/Heated Pool, Hot Tub & Game Room

Escape to our Lake Powers log cabin on 1.3 acres, just a short stroll to the sandy beach or boat launch. Enjoy the heated pool, hot tub, and onsite boat storage. Perfect for families—cribs, toys, baby-proofing, a big yard, free firewood, and fast WiFi. Grown-ups can unwind at the full bar or play billiards!

We are happy to share our special getaway with you and truly hope you get to enjoy it as much as we do. The views of the lake during a morning walk are spectacular, and there are some fantastic local things to do in the neighborhood. My favorite is to take a walk or short drive to the farm stand to see what great fruit and vegetables are in harvest.

We have sought to equip our home to a high standard and to anticipate your needs by providing all the things you might want for a comfortable stay. Hair dryers and pool towels are provided as standard and a washing machine is available.

You want to have a wonderful holiday and we want that for you too. We believe that when you are here this is your home for however long you are staying and that you will be relaxed, comfortable and happy.

The property has a grill, all the appliances you need in the kitchen, heated pool, game room, pool table, Zip Line and basketball hoop,

The pool is generally open between June 1st to September 30th and the hot tub is open year round.

Comfortably the home sleeps about 6 to 7 adults and 6 to 7 kids.

Overall the property was as listed. The owner was responsive and the house was well stocked, but the house inside and out needs some work. Inside there were several lights that were out and a shower door was broken. Outside the pathway from the patio to the swing set was so overgrown it couldn't be used. The fence on the pool deck was broken and was an accident waiting to happen. The pool itself was in great condition and very clean. It was great that it was heated. There was a gas grill but only enough propane to cook one meal.

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us. We're glad to hear you found the house well stocked, enjoyed the heated pool, and appreciated our responsiveness. We wanted to address a couple of the concerns you raised. The pool fence issue was taken very seriously, and we have since replaced it with a brand new fence to ensure the area is safe and secure for our guests. Regarding the propane tanks, we wish you had let us know during your stay. We make every effort to keep three propane tanks available and full at all times. Occasionally, a previous guest accidentally leaves the grill on, which can unexpectedly drain the tanks. Had we known there was an issue, we would have had our caretaker refill or replace the tanks as quickly as possible so you could continue enjoying the grill without interruption. We also appreciate you bringing the other maintenance items and overgrown pathway to our attention. Guest feedback helps us continue improving the property, and we have addressed or are in the process of addressing these items. Thank you again for your stay, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.

Wow!

This house has many different spaces for everyone to use and enjoy. The pool was just beautiful - all kinds of water toys available in the adjacent pool house. The home is completely "baby-safe." All stairs are gated, doors have child-proof handles, and cabinet locks are available to use. The yard is entirely fenced in, and within that, the pool is completely gated. Lots of toys and games. Kitchen was nicely supplied, even with basic pantry items. Communication with the owner and property manager was easy, with almost immediate responses to a few questions. A really wonderful place for extended family to gather and relax.

Nice property with a lot of amenities and kid friendly. Heated pool was especially appreciated given that the weather was cool and the lake was still cold at the end of June. Owner was very responsive to all communications.

We loved our stay! The house was fabulous!!! The pool was heated and clean! Maintenance guy checked on it twice while we were there. We loved the game room. The kitchen was filled with everything we needed. The host went above and beyond to make our stay perfect in every way! Just a short drive to Lake Geneva! Highly recommend!!!!

This was an amazing family vacation spot for 6 adults and 4 children (6, 5, 4, and 10 months) that was only a 1-2 hour drive from our homes! We stayed for 5 nights with plenty to do together.The entire house was clean with a kitchen that has everything you’d need and bedrooms with extra sheets and blankets. We loved that there were toys and games for the big kids, and even better that the house stored baby things we did not have to pack (crib, high chair, gates). The pool is maintained and we were in it every day, and the hot tub was nice for us adults at night. We were able to have a fire and do smores, play on the playground in the yard, rides bikes with plenty of room in the big driveways, and the zip line for the kids was an added bonus!!We’ve already discussed coming back with some friends, and the kids already want to come back next year for the family vacation. It’s seriously such a nice get away that is quick to get to from Chicagoland suburbs, and we do want to come back.The host was also friendly and quick with responses for check in, throughout our stay, and checking out!
