Make this gorgeous Montana home near Yellowstone Park your vacation destination this summer! The Mountain Mirador Lodge is a lovely welcoming home in the Yellowstone Park and Chico Hot Springs area, ideal for family vacations and reunions and just plain getting away from it all!

The home is a short 15 minute drive to Chico Hot Springs, 10 minutes to the town of Emigrant, and a beautiful approx. 25-30 minutes through Yankee Jim Canyon to the north entrance of Yellowstone Park and the town of Gardiner, Montana. Lots of wildlife along the way! In every direction are breathtaking scenes of the Yellowstone River, Paradise Valley and Emigrant Peak. The home’s large windows and two decks are great for indoors or outdoors viewing and for relaxing with a barbecue cook-out or as you enjoy the scenery.

There are two very comfortable living spaces - a spacious living and dining area with cozy gas fireplace on the main level, and on the lower level there is a gathering/game room with table tennis, pool table, and loungers for TV or movie watching (DVD library available). The house is situated and built in a way that takes maximum advantage of the views, with large windows all around.

There is a large deck on the front of the house with phenomenal views of the Absaroka mountain peaks, which is accessible from a private master bedroom door and from the main entry. There is a BBQ deck just off of the kitchen and dining area, along with a patio off with a private entrance outside of one of the two lower level bedrooms

Sleeping Accommodations: The home has two master suites on the main floor, one with a king bed, TV, spacious bathroom with a beautiful tiled shower. The other suite has a queen bed and private bathroom with a tub/shower. Downstairs are two more bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other has twin bunks. Further sleeping space is available using two loungers in the family room which open out to full sized beds, each accommodating two people for sleeping. A third full bathroom serves this floor.

Nearby is historic Chico Hot Springs Resort with its natural hot springs pool, trails rides, sporting clays, day spa, and exceptional dining. Other activities in the Valley include whitewater rafting, scenic flights, guided trips and tours into the Park, art galleries, rodeos in June and July, and in August, the Fiddler’s picnic.

Shopping: In the nearby small town of Emigrant you’ll find a well-stocked grocery store, bank, post office, gas station, gift store, fly fishing store, cafe, bar and restaurant. A little further north you will find the towns of Livingston and Bozeman with more options for shopping and dining.

Amazing property!

Our stay was fantastic - the property and views are breathtaking from all rooms/sides of the house. The house is clean and spacious and fully equipped with everything you’d need. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.

Loved our stay

We loved our stay, enjoyed beautiful skies, and proximity to Yellowstone. The house is very comfortable and spacious - we had 3 families (10 people) staying together comfortably. The general store in Emigrant had all the basic grosheries and more and the groshery store in Livingston had everything.

Great spot for family!

Loved this place! We had 5 adults and 3 kids and had room to spare! 30 minutes from Yellowstone. Close to Chico Springs with a spa and horseback riding! Bozeman was not too far of you need a taste of a bigger town (or to stop at Costco to pick up groceries for your stay). Owners were so easy to work with and very helpful!

Family holiday

We stayed here while visiting and celebrating the holidays with our daughter who lives in the neighborhood. There were only 4 of us but it was wonderful and could comfortably accommodate 2 or 3 times that many. Beautiful views everywhere, well stocked kitchen with all the essentials including spices etc, super comfortable beds. Perfect! We will be back soon!

When the Clouds Lifted...

Roomy property with phenomenal views (when the clouds lifted)! We had a great time exploring Yellowstone, the hot springs, nearby Bozeman. And the pool and ping pong table provided hours of entertainment. Well stocked with everything you need whatever the weather. We'd come back!

Yellowstone family trip

Fantastic location and great home for large family reunion. Beautiful views that can be seen from almost every window. Only downside was that bedrooms had 8 persons and pull out beds needed for other 4 which was not ideal but certainly ok. House well stocked and very clean. Kids loved ping pong table, adults loved the lazy boy chairs. Hot springs easy trip as was yellowstone. Would stay again

Good for families

liked having ping pong and pool table. Trouble with water going out and filtered water was struggling to keep up with 10 people. Beautiful views. Short white and black hairs on some furniture and in sheets... Very responsive to these issues, which we appreciate.

Wonderful getaway

Loved coming back to Emigrant, such a beautiful setting. With Yellowstone only being a short, scenic half hour drive away we spent most of our days there taking in the abundant wildlife and phenomanal views. You wouldn't do any better if you're looking for a roomy home with gorgeous views close to Yellowstone. The ping pong table and pool table downstairs were frosting on the cake to unwind and have some fun in the evenings. The mule deer cruise right by the house in the morning and evenings, always fun to see the animals so close. Travelling with a toddler, this house was the ticket, stocked with a pack n play, high chair , and baby gate for the stairs. We had a great vacation, looking forward to the next one!

Family Christmas

We had our adult children meet us here for Christmas! We mostly stayed at the house and went to Chico Hot Springs! The house was perfect for our family and great for entertainment with game room! The only disappointment was dead flies everywhere and mouse traps everywhere and hearing mice in the basement bedroom wall and upstairs bathroom ceiling!! My husband did tighten the upstairs barstools they were really loose and the downstairs laundry room door was off the hinges so he fixed that as well! But overall it was a great experience

The perfect location!

If you are heading in to Yellowstone National Park, and you also want to be able to easily get to more populated areas, well this is the place for you. My daughter and I stayed here and spent every day in the park, and then we would head to Livingston to grab dinner. This house is positioned halfway between Livingstone and the park, making it an ideal location. Beyond the location, this house was exactly what we needed. Comfortable and cozy, where we would warm and rest our tired bones after hiking all day. We also enjoyed seeing the mule deer and elk in the yard. Also, the view is spectacular! I loved waking up to the view of the mountains every day. We did have one minor issue on check-in, but it was immediately dealt with by the very attentive owners. Communications were top notch. Thank you for allowing us to use your home!!

This is the second house I've rented in the Emigrant area. The views are breathtaking and the location is very convenient to Yellowstone NP and Livingston.Some updating needs to occur with this home, particularly the bed pillows and linens. They seem worn. Not enough towels in the home for 6 people. I contacted the property management about the lack of shower soap/shampoo as the receptacles were empty. I also wanted to let her know whoever they use for housekeeping did not check the gas grill as the previous user did not clean it and neither did the cleaning company. Windows had handprints on them. No response at all which was my experience a few years ago in another Emigrant house managed by the same person. Disappointing for what these rentals cost but mostly the very high cleaning fees you pay and you have a house with these issues. Minor issues at the end of the day but nonetheless frustrating.

Great Family Time!

House is a great getaway for a large family. Pool and ping pong for the young at heart, a cabinet stocked with games, and 2 decks to sit and relax on. Watching the moon rise over Emmigrant Peak is pretty spectacular! 10 miles to Chico for a good soak in the hotsprings/pool and the kids saw 2 bears in Yellowstone Park !

Hot springs trip

The property itself was smaller than expected from the photos but with the storm not all of our party was able to make it so it was fine. There are a few basic kitchen amenities which was nice! The property manager realized the miscommunication on the entry code and called as we pulled into the property to ensure we had the correct one. The game area downstairs was a big hit with the family! Both upstairs and downstairs tvs didn’t work correctly. The floors were not clean in the bathrooms.(dead flies, dust, hair) The fact that we arranged for an early check in(1pm) only to find that in order to access the house we had to walk up the driveway (200ft, steep uphill, through 3 ft of snow, in an active show storm) we were able to utilize the sled in the garage to trek our luggage to the home as we were told the driveway would not be plowed until 5pm. The plow team showed up early at 3ish but got stuck in the snow multiple times. We were informed that this property is not on a contracted plow schedule and not being able to access the property was a frequent issue. The close proximity to Chico hot springs was very nice. Yellowstone hot springs is also close by! I would suggest the property manager do an update on the property binder as it’s pretty out of date, and could be a helpful resource.

Family vacation

This place was perfect for our 9 member family. Very quiet,clean and beautiful setting. Close to Yellowstone,hot spring options and cavern tour. We were easily able to relax after a day of adventures. We made goirmet meals every day in kitchen. Very nice!!!

Wonderful cabin

The cabin is in a beautiful quiet setting and was clean and comfortable. The 30 minutes or so drive to Yellowstone was a joy as the scenery is breathtaking and there is plenty of wildlife to see on the drive. If you want to go to Yellowstone but don’t want to stay in a busy area I highly recommend this property.

What makes this property unique

You'll love this home because it's close to Chico Hot Springs Resort and the little town of Emigrant, and also very near the entrance to Yellowstone. Livingston is only a short drive north for shopping, great restaurants, live theater, rodeo, and shopping, and Bozeman is only about an hour if you need to catch a flight. At the same time, the house is in a place that is easy to access summer or winter but still feels remote. It's only a few minutes from Yellowstone River fishing access and National Forest trails, and Yellowstone is only 30 minutes away! The views from inside and outside of the house are phenomenal! Lots of deer and other wildlife too. It's a really special place!
