180 degree Lake View From Private Villa on the Island on Lake Travis!

Casa Diana is a corner unit villa with an incredibly private balcony offering a 180-degree view of the main body of Lake Travis. Our unit juts out toward the lake and the views are stunningly beautiful. The bedroom has a soaring 2 story ceiling with walls of windows overlooking the lake. Enjoy dining al fresco on the balcony while enjoying a fabulous sunset view over the lake. This is by far one of the best, most private balcony locations on the Island and is closest to the lake, pools, hot tubs, gym and restaurant. This particular unit is located directly across the lake from the popular cliff jumping and slack lining (walking on tight ropes over cove) area of Pace Bend Park. The beautiful limestone cliffs and rocky coves can be accessed via kayaks and or stand up paddles boards. It is so much fun to watch the cliff divers/jumpers from our balcony. Pace Bend Park has nine miles of undeveloped shoreline on Lake Travis and is one of the most popular areas in the Highland Lakes region. Our unit is facing the main body and is located on a very deep stretch of the lake with gorgeous limestone bluffs so our view is spectacular.

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT LONG TERM RESERVATIONS FROM MARCH THRU SEPTEMBER. NO PETS-NO KIDS-NO EXCEPTIONS!

This older resort style property offers: 2 outdoor pools and 2 hot tubs, 1 indoor lap pool (newly refinished and re-opening in late September), hot tub, dry sauna, fitness center, luxurious full service on-site spa for massages, mani/pedis, etc., newly refinished tennis/ pickle ball courts. There is also lake access, onsite parking, boat docks with daily rentals upon request, day dock for fishing, 2 onsite shared coin operated washer/dryer facilities and free WIFI throughout the complex.

Casa Diana is beautifully decorated and has 2 large screen TV's, games, pickle ball rackets and balls, fully stocked kitchen with Keurig, plus regular Mr. Coffee maker for brewing full size pot with timer option and common spices. Wake up to an amazing view of the lake right outside your bedroom windows. This unit has a king sized bed. Being a corner unit, there are no units located above or on one side of this unit so it is very quiet.

You can be totally relaxed on ‘Island’ time! We have a beautiful onsite lakeview restaurant and bar. There is an onsite boutique store, A Beautiful Place to Be, where you can rent stand-up paddle boards, tennis/pickle ball rackets with balls, frisbee golf equipment and chic ‘Island Attire’, etc. We have a full service onsite spa to get wonderful massages and or mani/pedi’s. FYI---Downtown Austin is 50 minutes away! There are deer and wild life on the Island. Pickle ball rackets and balls are provided in our unit. The community is very quiet and mixed with full time residents and short term renters. This is NOT a party destination!!! It's a place to relax and get away from it all.

A maximum of 2 guests are allowed! If you violate these terms, you will be subject to forfeiting your security deposit and will be asked to leave with no refund of rents paid. There is onsite security to enforce violations and we have a Ring doorbell.

Wonderful Getaway Gift

I bought a 2 night stay as a gift for my parents. They had no trouble following the directions and instructions sent over and have continued to thank us for the relaxing, peaceful time they had in the townhouse.Thet spent lots of time out on the balcony, but also enjoyed the on-site restaurant. Beautiful condo on Lake Travis

My wife and I spent an extended weekend here. The property owner was very thorough in providing us with everything we needed to know about the condo and the area before we arrived. After a long drive there, it was refreshing to know there was a restaurant and bar a few doors down from our condo. We used this restaurant and bar several times during our stay. We also visited a couple of other restaurants in the area that were recommended by the host and those were spot on as well. We spent time relaxing on our balcony and in the pool. Both are overlooking beautiful Lake Travis. The hosts of this rental are available if you need them but they were so thorough that we didn’t need to contact them. I highly recommend this rental and hosts. You won’t regret your time there.

Wonderful getaway in Lago Vista!

Beautiful view, kitchen was well stocked, and it was a short walk to the pool - just about everything we could have hoped for! Property was well maintained and quiet and we absolutely loved eating dinner on the balcony during sunset. All stores and restaurants are within a short, 10 minute drive and there are plenty of options. Property manager had great communication and directions which made check in and out a breeze.

Great place to relax

My husband and I enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings. We stayed the week of Thanksgiving so there weren't very many people. The rooms were clesn and stocked with everything we needed. The host left lots of helpful information about things to do.

Wonderful property

This was meant to be a weekend getaway and it was great! The condo was clean and conveniently stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated ice in the freezer as we made margaritas that evening. Diana provided excellent info so check in was smooth and easy. The island was quiet but a lot to do close by. We will definitely be back when it’s a little warmer and we can use the pool.

The location was exactly what we were looking for. Great get away, but still only 50 min away from downtown Austin. The property/condo was clean with everything we needed. The host was great. Wonderful communication, and excellent response if we had any questions. Would love to return.

Just what we needed

Absolutely love this place. Diane was a great host. Perfect communication and her directions were on spot on. Even though the complex can be confusing, she made it easy to find our spot. The amenities are great. If you are an indoor pool kind of person like me, right now the indoor pool is closed but we had a blast at the pool which was super close to the condo. Totally relaxing and we recommend.

The best scenery ever

When I say, I will visit this place in a heartbeat, I mean it!!!! I am not an outdoors person, but I literally stayed outside on the balcony the entire 4 days!!. The place was clean and beautiful, but the scenery took the cake!!! And to top it off, Mrs. Diane gave us a late checkout without having to ask!!! I will definitely visit this condo again and again!!

Quiet, beautiful getaway

This is a well-appointed condo with a beautiful view of Lake Travis which as of October 2024 is still at nearly 50% down. However, the view from the balcony is perfect and the slower pace of the lake/resort was exactly what we needed. The host explained the directions and the check in/out process perfectly. It was not confusing at all. The pool and pickleball courts were nicely kept as was the rest of the resort grounds. The proximity of the assigned parking space to the staircase to the condo was a huge plus which made it super easy to come and go as needed. I think we decided that we saw more deer than people while we stayed there! Would definitely consider coming back for another lazy weekend away.

Perfect condo on the lake!

I spent a week here visiting family, friends and taking in the views. The condo is perfectly positioned overlooking the lake for gorgeous sunrises and sunsets! It was also exactly the place to stay to work remotely during the day and had all of the amenities to make me feel at home. In the afternoon, the pool was refreshing and clean! The owner was also great - communication was timely, she was thoughtful in her recommendations and guidance to ensure my stay was exactly as I had planned. Five stars all around! Thanks Diana! I'll be back!

Perfect Getaway.

My wife and I had an amazing time. The property is beautiful with outstanding views. The balcony literally made it impossible to spend any indoor time. Our host Diana was easy to communicate with and her attention to detail was spot on. She will provide you with information to make your stay fool proof. From the moment you arrive at the gate, to the choices of food and things to do. She will provide everything in an easy to follow PDF attached email, a couple of days before your stay. Oasis Escape

My husband and I had the most relaxing escape at this hidden gem of a property. The condo was perfect for two people. On the first day we relaxed by the pool, which was right by the unit, played some pickle ball and then the highlight of our day was having champagne and watching the incredible lake view of the sunset from our balcony. On our second day we ventured into town for a hike, picked up some food at a local food truck park and then relaxed by the pool again. Of course that was followed by another spectacular sunset and champagne. There was so much more we would have loved to do and can’t wait to plan our next get away. Thank you for sharing such an enchanting place with us.

Quiet get away for 2!

This condo was a great place for my husband and I to get away and celebrate our 32nd anniversary! We enjoyed grilling steaks and burgers on the gas grill and watching boats on the water, including a hydroplane take off! The corner condo is quiet, nicely decorated, and has a lot to offer. Beautiful view of the lake and pool from the condo balcony. Well-stocked kitchen with condiments, spices, coffee pods, tea bags, filtered water pitcher, cooking utensils, etc. Super comfy king bed. Awesome water pressure in the shower. Reserved garage parking spot. Board games, pool noodles, binoculars, and more. Communication with host Diana was great too! Her pre-arrival package was very informative and directions to the condo were spot on. Worth a stay.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!!

Perfect villa! Perfect host!!! Amazing views and amenities! Great pricing. YOU must enjoy for yourself. Bed so comfortable you want to take it home with you (said my daughter). The pictures online is an understatement of how beautiful this place really is. So peaceful as well. I booked the villa for a few days as a surprise 10yr anniversary getaway present for my daughter and son in law while I kept their 5 beautiful children. The host went above and beyond in helping me pull off the surprise and I'm sooooo grateful! She also has EVERYTHING you could need available for you. It's also an awesome Spa on the property and I scheduled couple massages and pedicures and they loved it. The property has an outdoor AND an indoor pool with hot tub and sauna. Absolutely amazing!!!! I can't wait to book a getaway here for myself in the springtime! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Amazeballs!!!!!!!!!!
