We had an amazing time and really enjoyed the beautiful, snow covered view! Shane was so kind and responsive, and sent a plow each day to ensure we could safely get around. The home was well equipped and we enjoyed our stay very much! We hope to be back soon!

Lovely, spacious home in the Hudson Valley

Our family of five adults and one Jack Russell terrier spent a long winter weekend at this beautiful home. The photos and description in the VRBO listing are accurate, and Shane was easy to reach and responded quickly to our questions and concerns. One of our happiest finds in the area was the Bread Alone Bakery in nearby Rhinebeck, with wonderful, freshly baked artisanal breads and pastries. We also enjoyed dinner at Le Canard Enchaine in Kingston. We'd like to return in summer when we can more fully explore this lovely area.

A stunning Hudson getaway

This was the perfect base for our Hudson Valley family getaway. The house is every bit as stunning as the pictures and has beautiful green views in every direction. We loved the surrounding forest and the home’s seclusion (note: so secluded that Waze had a problem finding it; but Google Maps was great). We enjoyed outdoor activities in the general area and visiting some of the sweet nearby towns. We also loved just hanging in this *gorgeous* home, cooking family meals (the kitchen is incredibly well-stocked), dipping in the hot tub, and playing some pool. Only minuses were that the downstairs bedroom had a couple of big problems at the time of our stay. And the tap water (well water that is apparently safe to drink) had a strong odor, and we preferred to buy and drink bottled water.

Absolutely Beautiful!

As beautiful as the pictures are, they don't do the property justice. The owner, Shane, offers a wonderful property, was extremely helpful, easy to contact, and very responsive. Wholeheartedly recommend to anyone wanting 5 star accommodations in the Hudson Valley.

A perfect getaway!

We had such a good time relaxing away from everything and everyone! The house was gorgeous and very well maintained. I took an early morning hike around the grounds which are breathtaking. It’s a perfect 5-10 min drive to all shops and restaurants as well!
