Hello Natasha. We were very surprised by your 4-star review, and even though it started with positive comments, your negative comments are a concern for other future guests, so we have responded below. We were able to accommodate both an early check-in and a late check-out for your group without charging you additional fees. When you were departing, you seemed very happy with your stay and even supported a 5-star review. To reply to your comments: We do our best to communicate and our guests appreciate this extra effort. We know your time is valuable and you could have simply told us that you needed to schedule a time to talk and we would have been happy to accommodate. Emails are sent from both us and VRBO and we apologize if your Inbox was inundated. The additional costs you mentioned WERE NOT charged to you. They are, however, valid should a guest lose a remote or park in the street. Our instructions do not state the remotes need to be left in the same position as they are universal remotes so mixing them up is fine as they will still work. Uber or Lyft vehicles are also fine to drop off curbside in the street. Again, communication is key so the guest is aware. As a short-term rental company, it is our duty to explicitly state all of the rules associated with our properties. We offer clear communication so that our guests understand that Scottsdale short-term rentals have rules and ordinances that we must follow. As a business owner, I'm sure you would agree. We do ask guests to minimize the use of the front door for two reasons: 1) the keypad to enter the home is located at the garage and 2) it keeps traffic and noise to a minimum, which is our way of respecting the neighborhood. We have updated our listing to state that the casita entrance is through the garage, so future guests are aware. However, this has never been a problem in the past. Thank you for staying with us.
