Just stayed here for the second time, and we’re already planning another trip back! The cabin is located on one of the best stretches of the Llano River, with rapids, shallow areas, and sandy beaches right in front of the property. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The grounds and landscaping are also very well maintained. They even have kayaks and tents available to rent on-site, which makes everything incredibly convenient. It is dog friendly and mine had the best time of his life! It’s a beautiful place to relax, enjoy the river, and spend time outdoors. We had another great stay and can’t wait to come back!

Perfect weekend get away

We just had a wonderful weekend stay at the El Castell Cabins with our close friends. The location was great - we had big plans to go into Mason, but the cabins were so great that we never left except to walk across the street to the Castell General Store for dinner & drinks. The cabins were clean, comfortable and had all the necessities plus extras (games, yoga mats, etc). But honestly we spent 99% of our time on the beautiful breezeway connecting cabins D and C - it was a hot weekend but the breeze (and ceiling fans) made it very comfortable. It was perfect for us (two couples and two kiddos) but could easily fit more guests (three couples and a bunk room for kids!). We will be back!!

Amazing Experience

We had to reschedule due to the freezing weather last month, and we had the option to cancel. I am extremely glad we did not cancel, and got to experience this place. It was quite amazing, and everybody there loved it. The communication with the host was very fast, and everything we needed was already there. Will stay here again ! A+++
