This cozy cabin is located in Buena Vista Resort, just a short drive to the heart of Sicamous with quick access to grocery, restaurants, bars & shops.

The Resort offers plenty of amenities for guests to enjoy; the vast beach front; boat slip in the private marina; large greenspace with playground, tennis courts, basketball net and horse shoes. There is even a shared fire pit down on the beach. This Resort has thought of everything to entertain you and your family while on vacation! ​

The Space
This cozy cabin boasts a large deck, nestled in and amongst the tall towering trees, with a view of the beach and lake, creating a truly cozy cabin feel.  And, just a short stroll down to the beach.  Enjoy cooking on the grill and dining outside!  

​The cabin comfortably sleeps 6 guests.   The kitchen is fully stocked, all linens are provided;  24" TV with Chromecast; XBox w/ games as well as board games. 

This property also offers 2 kayaks, life jackets, beach chairs and 2 tennis rackets for guest use.

Parking:
There is one parking space available behind the cabin. Additional parking is located outside of the resort fence. We ask that there be no more than 2 vehicles.

Guest Access
Guests can walk to main street restaurants and bars within 20 minutes. Or just a short 4 min drive.

Other Things to Note
There is NO in-cabin laundry. Shared Laundry facilities are located on site. Guests must sign-in to reserve a time. There is a $5 fee for 3 hour usage.

​Boats & Trailers
Boats and personal watercraft are to be launched and removed by the onsite property manger of the resort only. This will be done for a charge of $15 each for entry and removal. Moorage costs are $18 per day and $10 for personal watercraft and payable to the onsite property manager.

Maximum boat length permitted is 23ft, excluding pulpit, swim deck and motor

Danielle is great and communicated well with us answering all our questions. This is a great little cabin with everything you need for a summer vacation. Very close to town and it has a nice beach. We were able to moor our boat which was a huge plus!

100% accurate listing. Cozy, very functional, and good layout. We had family staying nearby in other accommodations, but our cabin was the preferred get-together location.The resort was quiet, clean and friendly and parking for our visitors, though outside the resort proper, was very close by and off the main road.This cabin, the resort and location on Mara Lake made this, and it's a direct quote from my teenager son, the "best vacation, ever".

A lovely location

Buena Vista is a lovely location with cozy cabins and their decks about a metre apart overlooking Mara lake. The neighbours were very near but quiet and considerate. The lake was warm and the rocky beach and dock area felt private and well cared for. We had a very nice time.

Great little cabin.

Really nice place to stay. Five minute drive to Sicamous; which is a very cute town where you can get everything you need. Had a few questions when we first came but Danielle responded very quickly. Would stay again.

The cabin had all the amenities and water / sport equipment listed. More than a 20 minute walk to town. Definitely drove in for groceries and ice cream!! The cabin was small for the 5 of us but met the description. It’s wasn’t the cleanest as we had to pull out the beds to look for a lost piece of jewelry. The deck was shaded and comfy. Beach was rocky and you needed water shoes but loved the floating dock and slide . Sicamous trail waterfall is close by and worth checking out.

Great Location - Comfortable Cabin

The cabin is accurately described in the listing - its clean and well maintained and the kitchen is extremely well stocked - had everything and more than we needed. Access to the lake is within the resort....try to bring water shoes as it is a bit rocky. I had 3 kids under the age of 12 and 2 teenagers....everybody had fun at the waterslide. The kayaks were a bonus (there are some adult emergency floatation jackets at the cabin but I would recommend bringing your own lifejackets) Overall a great place to be in the summer....

Beautiful stay. Beautiful view and lake. Lots of dog hair.

Used a towel when getting out of shower that was matted with white dog hair. Maybe the dogs towel...I was coated with fur and had to re shower. Dog hair was everywhere. Husband's allergies were rough. Other than that all was well.

Buena Vista Resort is family oriented with all the extras in terms of outdoor activities and attractions. There is a huge green space to play outdoor sports, the playground for the little ones, tennis courts, basketball court and horse shoes.

The grounds are well kept by George, the onsite property manager. And you are just a short stroll down the pathway to the beach.

What makes this property unique

Marina's and boat slips are hard to come by in Mara Lake. However, this property offers a boat slip! Just stroll on down to the dock and hop right in your boat or watercraft.
